I cannot recommend enough Gunslinger Girl. It's an awesome manga filled with characters with a tragic past. It's the most tragic manga you can ask for. Do yourself a favor and don't miss this. 😃

Chrno Crusade
Shin Angyo Onshi another good action read. Don't miss this.

Action manga that aren't labelled as tragedy but have some pretty tragic moments:

World Embryo
Shina Dark it could go in that direction, even if it's too soon to give a judge.
