If the zodiacs are in the right order, you can kind of see the age group that reads manga the most in the results...sorta :> there's a mountain sloping effect! Is this complete nonsense? (dogs now~ 15yo? dragons 21~ ish)

I was thinking about the results reflecting the age groups, too. Then I thought about it and realized, ' I'm a Rabbit (22 yrs old) and there's quite a few others that are the same age.... Wait a minute, they could very well be mostly 10-yr-olds Rabbits too.'

I can't help chuckle whenever I think about my parents' chinese zodiac. Dad's a rat while Mom's a snake. Snake eat rats. Lol.

Anyway, a Dragon just like my grandpa.

Did you know that in Vietnam, we celebrate the Year of the Cat instead of the Year of the Rabbit?

thread

» vietangelix on February 20th, 2010, 7:46pm

Yup.
Kind of remind me of Fruits Basket with Kyo (the cat) being left out.
But in our zodiac, the cat isn't left out.. Funny.

I was debating to have an option like "I wish the cat made it" or something, but decided not to. Most people know the holiday as "Chinese", so I used the Chinese zodiac (even if it's technically an Asian holiday)

I thought there would be more roosters but it looks like the dragons dominate BU-Manga ^_^

Well that poll seems does more than revealing MU zodiac it also tell us a lot about the age group also.

Assuming that you can have 25 year olds, and 13 year olds both browsing... dragon's going to win. Many Chinese couples that can possibly have kids during the year of the dragon is going to try, because the belief is that the dragon is the best and most powerful sign. And since there are tons of Chinese people... you get the idea. Someone I knew who worked at a hospital said that the maternity ward was always full all the time during the year of the dragon.

"Such a commercial holiday, and no one cares"

More than 'not caring' I chose that option because I don't have anyone to "care" about and vice-versa. Of course, Valentine's Day is more of a 'lover's day' than a 'love all human beings'-type of a day here ;P
