I highly doubt they are shutting down the entire website just for that. Besides, I think that grey has always been this website's color, to signify it is for manga, as opposed to the blue anime/main division of Baka-Updates.

Yeah, not the best day for announcements. However, I have noticed that the website has been going offline quite frequently 'for maintenance' since a while ago.
