My parents and my sister read doraemon to me when I was a child. They eventually got tired of reading it all the time so they taught me to read. The first thing I read in my life was Doraemon, at the age of 4... I still love it now at the age of 28.

I've never been a big fan of superman or batman. Even though I did enjoy the Christopher Nolan's batman movies, I still don't like the batman character himself. I grew up watching Smallville and again, I did enjoy the first few seasons but disliked the superman character....

I've read the Firefly comics because I love the series and the movie. I did enjoy them but not as much as manga. Maybe it's my bias but I feel like manga is so much more complex than comics when it comes to character development or art.
