I just finished 1999 Shanghai tonight, which I wish they would print in English. Everything else I've read lately is still being put out.

I do if I like the mangaka. But most of them talk about things I find completely irrelevant so I don't pay much attention. I also find them distracting when I'm reading something rather involved.

I cry over practically every one I read and many an anime, as well.
I do remember not crying at the end of Zombie Powder. And Voiceful. Trigun. Gaba Kawa. Yeah, so it's easier to think of what I haven't cried at. Heh.

I am generally pleased with the endings of manga, but my favorite endings are usually from Setona Mizushiro. Even when she rips your heart out I still like what she does with a story.
