Is the mangaka a lady or a dude?

I'm pretty sure it's a dude. I mean, would a lady write about her bushy mustache as a note? And also, the drawings of themselves are pretty dude-ish. But after saying that, i hope i'm wrong, because that would be a little creepy, in my opinion o.o
