Well, thats not really true. I am from Germany, and we have quite a lot of officially translated Manga. Not the same stuff licensed in USA, but a lot.

Well, for people like me who live in Germany it's hardly possible to get Manga and if there weren't these subs we wouldn't be able to enjoy these Mangas. So I think it's okay if there are scans of lincensed Manga. I wouldn't be able to buy them so there's no loss for the ...
