whenever it has such an overused plot.
ex:
[insert MC name] was sealed with [insert power] when he was younger. His parents died and so his [insert relative] has taken care of him since he was young. Until one day [insert love interest] was in trouble and his power unleashed.

Would you ever recommend a series that's either incomplete or on hiatus?

I'm normally disappointed when I discover an amazing manga or manhwa that goes on a hiatus, or even the group stops putting out more chapters. So, I personally would not give recommendations to friends about a series that's on hiatus but if it's just what they're looking ...

I definitely agree with this one. I'm currently waiting for the newest chapter to come out and I reread the series occasionally just because I like it so much.
