It would be nice if one day, mangaka can upload their own works, have scanlators translate them, and cut out the distributors/ serialization fees out entirely. Like some self-published novels on Kindle. Ofcourse, it is always nice to have a hard copy, but I'm sure popular...

Sometimes it depends on the quality if the scans and the style the mangaka uses. For example, a very clean scan can be cleaned much more easily with just levelling. Some manga don't rely too much on greys and don't tend to write over the pictures (like Naruto) so they're ...

It's simple - stable relationships just aren't as interesting to watch/ read. There's no drama. So the easiest way to create that drama would be to either delay the couple from being together, or to have them hook up and break up quickly.
