Different from sensei's other works

The main story was pretty depressing. The seme liked a straight guy, he was too shy to open up about his feelings and he literally lost it. I love Ootsuki-sensei but I want to see a continuation with these 2, with a happy ending this time. The other story was very light-hearted and cute. Overall, it was a nice read.

I don't get all the hate for the first story? Sure it wasn't amazing, but it's a normal, poetic and metaphoric take on unrequited love and how love still lingers even after it's been cut off. I didn't think the ending was abrupt at all. The main discovered love's legacy in his own feelings as well as those in the object of his affection. There was really nothing more to wrap up unless the mangaka wanted them to actually get together, which she didn't. I can see how such an ending wouldn't be popular in BL-land, tho. People prefer happy endings, after all.

The other oneshots are nice and bittersweet, still keeping with the theme of unrequited love. Like others, I'd love to see a continuation of the last one.

That main story really is pointless. It's not about the open ending that I'm unhappy with; what really ticks me off is the fact that it went absolutely no where, and that every events alluding to a climax before the end were ruthlessly trashed, almost as if the author had no idea how to continue and just decided to bin it, but might as well make a profit out of the rubbish that she had spent time and effort on. That might not have been the real case but it gave off that impression nonetheless.

The rest is relatively better in comparison, I mean they're nothing special and so-so at best, but at least they don't feel like a half-assed attempt at writing. The last oneshot (See-through) is actually cute and I quite like it.

... and it ruins it. I really liked the bittersweetness of the story, and wanted some kind of closure, which never came. I only reccommend it if you don't mind a sudden ending. I wish I knew this before I started reading, I definitely wouldn't even start on it.

I really didn't like the first story. It's very long and builds to some sort of conclusion that will never come. It's not psychological enough either to be interpreted as a mental struggle. Some people might enjoy this, obviously, but personally I felt this was painfully pointless and I sorta want the time I spent reading this back.
The oneshot See-through though is a great and simple story that is very cute! I truly enjoyed it.
