I loved this so much. However, during the first chapter, I was a bit wary that this manga might turn out like the shoujo one that they mention in the story itself. But to my relief, it went in the opposite direction. You can tell that the mangaka did a lot of research into hearing impairment when writing this.
And the art is very cute and the atmosphere is pretty calming.
I also liked the candidness of the mangaka in the author's notes about the BL theme being an afterthought. I thought that the emergence of romantic feelings flowed pretty well though.

I can't believe it's this artist first published book (or second series acording to words at the end?).
It was so easy to get into the story, no unnessesary things, no spead up in storyline, natural growth of unexpected feelings. The story makes you feel as if your friends was descraibing his life, not a world of fiction. And this is exacly what I like the most in this kind of shounen-ai. I just wish it could be a bit longer

and we could see them kiss as a couple. It's great she showed it from both sides, this way we can see that Taichi is just a bit dense with all this feelings but it's not like he dosen't love him, what I was afriad of at first when Kouhei kissed him.
Falling in love with each other is like the most natural thing, everything was just perfect.Love it.

The depiction of living with an invisible disability is brilliant, the characters are likeable and developed well, and it's cute and fluffy while being heart-wrenching at times. I'm glad that the hearing disability wasn't pushed to the side because that's what makes this BL unique. Plus, the dynamic between the two main characters is adorable.

I went in with little expectations (b/c BL series tend to be cliched). The art is decent. What bugs me is that their eyes seem too far apart sometimes. BUT I am amazed at all the thought the author put in the chapters. Certainly gave me something new to think about (after reading so much BL over the yrs, this is quite surprising). The dynamics between the two were cute and flowed well. Bonus (for me): The BL was really light. More focus was put in on Kouhei's hearing/character development. I wish there are more stories like this where the BL is subtle.

I read this without looking at the summary at all (only knowing it was some new BL), just looking for some quick 'kawaii'...
Pleasantly surprised.
It's provides a nice pause, a break- a rest from the dazzlingly angsty and dramatic BL mangas out there... I shouldn't even classify or compare this to BL, this is so special and so much unlike anything else. I feel ashamed at judging it by its genres, even.
The story, the characters- everything ebbed and flowed with subtle realism. The concepts regarding disabilities and alienation were dealt with delicately and maturely. At first I thought the author was going to generalise the concept and go with the one perspective she set up at the start, but she subverted my expectations and handled it really well. The BL content was handled even more so; their relationship was relatable: no loud outbursts of I love yous or melodramatic angst, just empathetic understanding and a kind of pure and endearing love.
Though this is short, the subtle character development and the revelations at the end really makes this worth it to read.

Absolutely no pretense, annoying tsunderes and misunderstandings. A sweet love story between two adorable characters. The art is warm and soothing, Although there are some bittersweet moments, it's not the heavy kind of angst. It's really beautiful and understated. The conflict is so relatable and real that it makes me cry. Definitely one of my favourite shounen-ais. Don't miss out on this masterpiece.
