With only the first chapter, it's already made me cry so hard.

It brings me inner peace. I could find this relevant to myself at some point, and I guess many others also do. You could fall in love with someplace or something just because of the existence of someone, and having that special someone to love and to live for is one kind of happiness. The only thing I regret about this manga is that sometimes I couldn't distinguish the two main characters, they look similar to me lol... anyway I'm looking forward to her next works.

If you don't like drama, then just go ahead and red the third story. It's the sweetest shit I've read.

The first story is very long and enjoyable, but doesn't have any proper end. It's like the story is just built up and ends in the beginning. That just makes it feel more dramatic than what it is. But apart from that the story is nicely told.
The second story is short and just a whisper of the full picture. Once more it feels like there could be a continuation, but it is very enjoyable in itself.
The third story is my favourite because I prefer lighthearted stuff. It's sweet and cute and, oh dare I say it, moe-gap! Tbh, this might be a new favourite of mine.
The fourth story is kinda pointless if you ask me. I enjoyed a bit of it but it's long and tedious and they are being so overly dramatic and both characters just piss me off because they make such stupid decisions. If that's not your thing you should just skip it because the story isn't even interesting enough to make up for it.

A Nice Collection

For the lead story only: I had read this in 2017, and I couldn’t write about it then. I then read this manga two more times in 2018. I was prepared for it to break my heart once more, and it did. Ever since then I have carried this with me, and most probably will till my death, because I have not gotten closure. And, it’s only now, in 2019, that I am willing to talk write about this because now I hope that I get closure for this someday, not only because I know with certainty that that’s a possibility, but also because I don’t want to carry it as a heart-ache for the rest of my life; I want it to be my heart-beat.
The rest of the three stories also caught my attention, but since they didn’t break my heart in the manner that the first one did, I usually tend to forget about them.

The first story was sad but written really well.

The second story felt like a prelude to something that never came.

The third story was super cute and sweet.

The fourth story had all the pieces to make a good oneshot, but it did not satisfy me for some reason...

Overall though, this was a pretty good collection of stories.

The first story really made me cry. The pages with illustrations related to the first stort on the last chapter made me cry too. I feel so sad for both Takashi and Yasu but things just don't work out the way we want to sometimes.

The second story was okay. It was kinda sad too. The third story was adorable. I think Arai's innocence and awkwardness was extra cute because of how scary he looked. The last story was kinda okay for me too. Overall, this manga was a good read.

It's painfully obvious the author was trying to be profound with philosophies scattered throughout the stories in this collection. Which I'm not against, as long as it doesn't feel jarring and out of place.

I think this manga has good ideas, but the mangaka doesn't have enough experience writing actual manga to convincingly pull her stories off. Her story-telling still has a long way to go to match the ambitions she originally had. More subtlety would also be a much desired improvement. And don't forget this is a visual medium - the lack of smooth transitions between panels and scenes here makes for a very bumpy read, at least in my experience it does.

I do appreciate the visible stakes that the mangaka holds against herself, especially when this is her debut work, but I'd reckon more practice is vital for her development as an author and an artist in the future.

I've only read the first 2 ones. I didn't like the 1st one's ending, and I thought this wasn't about short stories, so I'm kind of depressend. But at least the 1st one is deep and has some meaning, but the 2nd one?? Doesn't make any sense.
I don't dislike sad stories, but I think this genre needs to make sense. I dislike when a story is just made to be sad, without deepness nor developement.
So I feel the first one is prette good, the drawing, the characters, de development, and all. Even if I feel that I'd love to know what happens with Yasu and Takashi and that the ending is too vague... it is good.
The second one, on the other hand, could have been good.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
The main character just remembers Sano and his relationship with him, and then how it ended. We don't get to know why it happend and how Sano felt. What's been of him? This is simply an story made to be sad, but without a reason. So in my opinion it's stupidly sad...
In Yasu and Takahi's case, the ending has a reason: Yasu has a path to follow in life and Takashi has another, it's sad but makes sense.

I love the art, so I will still wait for the next chapters and read them. But I hope the are more like the first one than the second... Or better yet, that we get to see both couples again smile

The Cover Killed Me

I just knew it was one of those which had to be a ten. I knew it the moment I saw the cover. And I wasn't wrong when I read it either.
The first page packed a punch, and then I knew I was right in my belief.
The first and the fourth story were the best after all. And I seriously want a continuation of them, especially the first one. Because my all time fav one will be Yasu x Takashi.
The only story which I am uncomfortable with is Sano's. It was well done, the pacing and the paneling, but too much was left to the reader's imagination.
Lastly, THE ART IS BEAUTIFUL.

The manga got progressively better as it went on, imo, with each chapter being better than the previous. The first two feel really incomplete to me, I would love a continuation. The third story was adorable, I am weak for sweetheart delinquents. The fourth story was simple, but amazing it showcased the struggles normal people face everyday, and how just small words and actions can make a huge difference o those around you - on it's own I wold give it a nine.
