if the story went on and was expressed well it would have been good but somehow it was wasted, it seems like the story was cut and made short , there's no proper romance between the two character and seem unreal cause after being chained would you really fall in love that fast to the one who chained you while you are still in love with other and locked you...

well that is just my opinion, we have different taste and views so you might like it if you read it...

Just like the others said, the twist in the middle was weird and unnecessary. It took what could've been a nice story, and cheapened it and really made me dislike the seme, unfortunate.

Yeah that one twist will certainly raise a lot of eyebrows for sure. I guess the mangaka wanted to try something new and darker this time..?, though I can't really say she excelled in that department either. I wish her characters got more organic development rather than just a cheap twist to throw readers off and to make it 'edgy' somehow. I was actually intrigued by their personalities and dynamics at first but that came down the drain pretty fast the moment she stopped making them interesting as themselves by succumbing to some generic plot device. A waste of good art if you ask me.

1. Weak premise to begin with, though 'you just wanted it bc someone else had it' 'you're probably right' was good, the top seems kinda boring
2. the twist seemed to be added in for spice but was so jarring/out of step with everything else being vanilla it just didn't work. either go the full Ouji no Hakoniwa or stay vanilla. the awkward toe into weirdness just doesn't fit. It's not remotely hot.

The beautiful art made me overlook the stereotypical premise but the chaining episode was disturbing. Not the physical chaining per se, but Ayumi's reasoning for why he does it and the way in which he fails to understand how much it disturbs Chiaki. The series ends with them being all lovey-dovey but the hint that Ayumi's possessiveness could develop into abuse and psychosis taints the romance.
