Description
Do you know how this world ends?

Become the hero and defeat the 72 Demon Lords. The game that was boasted as the absolute hardest strategy game, 『Dungeon Attack』.

I used to be the ‘hero’ that had accomplished everything in this game, but after answering a suspicious survey, I found myself in the game as the weakest Demon Lord, 「Dantalian」.

With only my eloquent tongue and my memories of conquest as a hero—.

In order to survive as Dantalian. I shall tear this world apart.

It is a great read if you like dark story

The author is really careful in making characters. Each character has their past written in detail which lead to their twisted personality and talent, not that some no name student suddenly become evil and smart. They are clearly self-conscious of their madness and admit that they are trash and dangerous, not trying to hide it shamelessly but accept and enjoy it truthfully. The heroin is quite distinct that even though all of them are crazy (no sane, normal girl would be able to understand and follow the heart and mind of our insane MC), they have their own trait unlike other. The plot is also quite good with lots of brain game and weird logic/torture that make people's hair stand on.
Warning that this story is even less moral than Overlord so if you have a strong sense of moral and dont want to learn about sociopath psychology, you may not like this.

A great read, hopefully it gets fully translated

Ignore any of the below or above negative comment, I for one have read up to the end of the second volume, and what I can say is that the protagonist is a very twisted character but that is what makes him very interesting compared to the usual
light novel or even xianxia fare that I've dabbled in. The first two volume offer intrigue in spade which is rarely
seen in any substantial amount within this particular genre, imagine game of throne esque(its in
the same ballpark but far from on par but it would do the job of scratching that itch) but much more centered on a single
protagonist despite the change in POV that does more to solidify the story than take away from the main attraction. Another thing I found surprising was the minuet romance, which I usually find off putting in this genre but strangely enough, I could swallow the bitter romance pill and accept it, since it had enough of a foundation to feel wholesome enough to carry it thus far, another thing
I really like was that the protagonist along with the supporting cast had substance, although that substance tend to extrapolate their psyche which more often than not lead to sociopath or even psychopathic tendencies which seems more grounded in realism when you get a glimpse of their backstories, either way its an intriguing read.

Evil MC is more evil than Overlord

Neutral evil MC - demented kid due to his family circumstances is transported to a European/ medieval time where guns don't exist. Although this sounds like a slight departure from most other novels in the genre, he is actually given a huge handicap and in dire straits from the get go. But the main character finds his part of other evil characters and he gains power. The world is his known video game universe which he had been playing for 4 months straight as a NEEt before being transported to. So he has knowledge of the timeline... Oh yeah he is a demon lord of the weakest caliber.

The scenes are incredibly gory, evil, and there were plenty of 'cides like homocide, patricide, regicide, etc etc so of this upsets you then don't read this. What can be found though is strategy and war tactics, politics of royalty, and manipulation/ intelligent MC which is a good combo.

Started ok but...

Ok I loved this at the start, the first couple chapters were pretty good, the mc does some screwed up stuff but he really didn't have much choice.

But the latest few chapters are stupid. Stupid and retarded. Every character is a psychopathic sociopath extolling the virtues of murdering family and anyone who ever wronged you in the least way. Talks of how love is really just using one anotherwithout caring for one another and talks about how good it is to murder someone for no reason other than it makes them feel good.

So like I was saying, this started out good but quickly fell into sadistic murderporn. Dropped

good in the beginning, but...

in the second book, this was just psychopaths talking to crazy people. I'm not against an anti-hero, but this is beyond that, there is no logic for some of the massacres, just satisfying the thirst for blood of the mc and his companions. Really disturbing.
I just hope we don't go full nazi in the third book, but I'm not that optimistic.
Well written and drawn though, also quite a high quality translation.

The best of the best

I started reading this earlier in the day, and could not stop until I had finished every single chapter that had been translated. As of this date this has become my favorite novel. Where as some novels can feel like a chore to read, this one keeps you hooked on it's every word. I found no parts of this novel to be boring, which is an amazing feat given that this novel focuses more on politics and dialogue then action.

Vol 1 is very good, but Vol 2 is very bad.

Volume 1 is great and I'm sure other comments will extoll its virtues, but Volume 2 basically becomes a bunch of sociopaths (and I don't mean psychologically healthy people doing terrible things due to circumstance, I mean actual sociopaths) talking about their world-views and twisted ideas of love. I'm all for dark, edgy stuff, but Vol 2 just feels like I'm reading the manifesto of someone with serious issues.

The demon lord route

A translation that does the source material justice. I guess my only problem is I didn't even realise I had finished all the chapters until I went for more there wasn't any left. That's a problem ya know you try to savoir the novel but then you reach for another bite and only touch thin air only then do you remember that you ate those 30 pieces of chicken ah really wish I had more

Terrific translation, superb english

I strongly recommend this title. Not only because it's quite interesting (ploys and counterploys), but also because the translation (edit:up to vol 3 now) is made by a mother-language Korean with high-tier English skills, making full use of an extensive vocabulary, thus giving even more depth to scenes and overall, to the story.

Totally worth a read

The main character is an intelligent main character, instead of a "genius" main character, who the authors love to say are intelligent but behave otherwise. You get the POV from the main character, who tell you why he is taking the actions he do.
I love how the main character is not totally overpowered, but actually makes plans (which doesn't depend on luck) to bring down the enemy. And how he is a little like the Joker form Batman (a total lunatic who loves how people are suffering because of his plan).
A MAGNIFICENT Story where all characters has an ulterior motive and memorable moments.
