It was a decent manga but the ending didn't really work for me. The characters weren't well developed but well enough to pass. The pacing was really well done. I also like how Takaro was patient for Hiro, not wanting to take his brother's place. Hiro did fall out of love a little too fast though. What I hated the most was the conflict ending. Actually, I don't know if you could call that an end. I mean, if every criminal could reform that easily we wouldn't need prisons and there wouldn't be repeat offenders.

Damn, what the hell how can he think about his dick when his brother just died. I found that repulsive! I liked Ko-Chan and Hiro together. Okay to be honest I'm only half way through, but I hate Takuro with a passion. I understand that he had an unrequited love, but come on your brother just died all he could think about his jealousy I find that way too selfish. Sorry for my rant his attitude sickens me. I wished he died instead

I cried when ko-Chan died It was so sweet that he was giving Hiro a present on the exact time he was born. Damn the mangaka why did she have to kill him off.

really superficial and rushed. i mean in the first few chapters Ko chan and hiro are in love and then next thing we know its five years later, and Hiro gets together with Takuro so easily. i mean come on its the brother of his dead lover doesnt he feel any guilt? plus, if he was inlove with Kochan why would he spend all those years thinking of Takuro? .he seemed to fall in love way to easily. maybe if it was longer and the feelings grew over time then i would have believed it.

Oh wow, this manga series has some extremely corny lines in it. The storyline is interesting but the dialogue and characters are shallow. It's still enjoyable enough though. To the mangaka's credit; the art looks a lot better than it does on the cover.
The Moonlight Will Reach is good for a quick read, but don't walk into it with any expectations.

I don't mind drama but this one had nothing to back up the plot or characters. The cast's feelings for one another felt extremely superficial and the events felt even more contrived. In short, this was horrible and I couldn't bring myself to even finish it.

This story was quite dramatic but i felt it was a great story not to mention the intimate scenes were good. Although at times i found myself pointing at the brother and wanting to kill him myself but am glad about the ending.
