Imo this is the perfect manga for a 'children story', a simple plot that can relate to a lot of kids and for adults is an endearing iyashikei, art is great, worldbuilding is good too, still leaving questions and hint of a bigger universe but not so important

Like the reviewer before me wished for, the story fleshed out the character‘s backstories. But it was still rather superficial. Like many aspects of this manga were. Nothing was bad, but nothing really stood out either. Nothing breathtaking or new in the slice-of-life genre.
Still, it’s a solid manga and people who like this genre will be entertained by its sympathetic characters. Just don‘t expect something unique.

Lovely slice of life with a sort-of-magical witch child who acts at a little spoilt sometimes, she also speaks pretty bluntly I suppose it’s a more realistic depiction of how real children act. The art style is neat too. The art and story are a lot more rough than “Somali to mori no kami-sama” and “totsukuni no shoujo” but it’s still pretty nice and I recommend giving it a chance for anyone who likes guardian-child type relationships in a fantasy setting likely the 2 manga I mentioned above.
