Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge plot written for a more modern target-market.
All the skinship moments are cute, but as an otoge enjoyer, the heroine is seriously lacking. There are ordinary so-so mediocre heroines that have more character development and reaction.
I get that the heroine lacking in the womanly deparment is what drives the plot, but she has little to no appeal at all even for a fem reader like me who's supposed to get excited at her development and cheer for her. She's so painful to watch every single time she gets nosebleed or passes out after getting in close proximity with the guys.
The romance development also came out of nowhere. The good part is that her interaction with the 4 guys is pretty balanced and everyone gets proper amount of screentime. However, I find it weird that she ends up having doki doki moment with this one obvious male lead
And also out of nowhere she decided that her heart beats fast for him.
I mean everyone was also having the same start on their romantic development, so why does ML gets a sudden plot 'booster'?
The plot is, for the lack of a better world, as light as air.
But those skinships are cute so it was a good fast-paced vanilla read
