I ran into this series looking around for any manga/manhwa that uses gacha mechanics as a main story element. Surprisingly, there weren't that many I could find that were good and long running, despite the popularity of gacha games in JP, KR, and CN. But so far, this series fits that mark as one of the stand outs from the manga side of things.

This work is a cute and funny adventure with a little bit of danger, that focuses on a moderately powered MC that is a leader/manager with a team of cute powerhouse gacha girls. The story is a more relaxed progression of the team adventuring to gain more gacha gems, and then cute/humorous character interactions and development in between. I find myself enjoying the party's trials and silly antics and looking forward to what trouble they get into, even if there isn't a big driving force in the plot, like having a big bad Maou.

The art is the other stand out that makes the humor and action work. Cute character designs and clean action scenes, in a fun looking fantasy world. Semi-frequent chibi moments to help bring levity to the interactions and reactions. Though CG for backgrounds is used more later on.

Because the power gains in this story is not monopolized by the MC, it's much more team dynamic oriented. The biggest power gains is when the party rolls a new member from the gacha. Otherwise, the MC doesn't really get new skills and instead, has acquired gacha items that are more utility oriented rather than big power-ups. The gacha girls get minor power-ups from their own dupes or weapon dupes. The power progression is tame and gets a bump on the occasional times they accrued enough gems to do rolls. This works well with the gacha being the main selling point of the series.

The protagonist is a bit of a pushover yet considerate guy, and then sometimes can be an assertive leader and put himself at risk to get the job done at other times. Credit to the MC for also playing off well with the others in many of the comedic moments. The rest of the expanding party roster are the gacha girls. Nothing groundbreaking in character development, but they each get their turn and the charm is mostly in their interactions and playful arguments. They have their individual quirks and flaws, with the MC having to mediate arguments and help them if they falter. Somewhat light with the fanservice, and only small teases of romance/harem elements.
