Multiple odd cases of plagirism.

It's odd I tell you. In one of the early chapters (around vol 2 I think) there's one page of a castle/citadel drawn that looks ridiculously similar to Cirith Ungol from Peter Jackson's lord of the rings...even the angle of the picture looks exactly like the camera shot in the film! An another odd case is in chapter 9 pg 44...who do those three guards remind you of? (hint: Star wars universe) what's up with these out-of-place refrences?

Honest

I like how in this manhwa is quite honest and doesn't make the characters perfect and gives them flaws, like others have said it is alot like D.Gray-man, but not as good (I think). It moves very fast and often needs abit of rereading to grasp the plot and it has twists ect. But all together it's quite good.

The art is good, the characters are funny and likable and the story is the average main stream shounen storyline. It also feels like D grayman but that might not be a bad thing if you like that manga. The only thing i dont like is at the beginning the main protagonist gets a neww ability/ technique that culdve been useful earlier and I hope it doesnt continue
PS The cover art for this manga doesnt portray it well

Their past is not shown how
the protagonist sister became a witch
but it creates a mystery effect!

the comedy is nice
specially the facial expression
abilities of the character were
well varied and their techniques
were kinda cool!

This is one nice manga
read it and enjoy!

Good for any shounen fan

Characters: 8/10 They're likable and original enough to not feel cliched. Tasha is smarter and more mature than your average shounen lead, and Halloween is a bit of a tsudere character yet still makes for a very likeable female lead.

Art: 9/10 Clean, bold, stylized, and modern. Lots of textures and movement; you can tell that the artist really loves what he does.

Story: 6/10 Very shounen. Teenage boy travels places and fights people in search of something. I'm still hoping that there'll be a little more depth but... Well if you like that kind of thing (which I happen to *sigh*) than you'll love it.

All and all I'm really enjoying it, though it's got it's downfalls, it's really a fun read. If you like manga like D.Gray-man, Soul Eater, or Hitman Reborn than you'll probably like this. The good humor, interesting art, and appealing characters make up for the lack of a totally original storyline. Overall I recommend it.

Love this manhwa.
Its creativity of combining the Arthurian times along with the Wizard of Oz, witch hunters and witches had made this manhwa very interesting as well as the psychological aspects and personal life of each characters. Very unique, very entertaining~

he loves money more than his life. he loves his master more than money, and he loves his sister more than his master. and its not that he doesnt think his life isnt worth anything either. Thats a lot of love. the series itself it great too.

Witch Hunter

This is a fine series. The main character isn't almighty nor is he a justice-freak. You could even consider him a swindler. A swindler of the rich and his fellow Witch Hunters, that is. Money is his second priority, just after hunting down a certain witch. Unlike what has been mentioned before, the main character isn't an orphan because he still has a mother. And naturally he has a rival in the form of an earlier student of his teacher. It's "shounen" after all.

What's really intriguing isn't his background, because that's all pretty much explained. What keeps me reading is finding out the extent of his powers as well as the purposes of the witches following his actions, combined with the shocking revelation of what his supporter possibly is. The manhwa isn't too complicated, seeing as it IS a Shounen type and not a Seinen.

He isn't a super character by any means. To date, he's technically lost 4 out of 6 battles, and nearly died an even greater amount of times, usually saved by a certain witch or his faithful supporter. I think the author purposely gave him glaring faults as a compromise for his overall strength in comparison to his peers (A Desert Eagle >.>wink. Sometimes these faults are exaggerated and then forgotten later (Such as his greed).

Overall, this is a good manhwa. While I wouldn't say it's a must-read, I would recommend it, mostly to other people like me who can read the RAWs. Meep works a bit slow on this, with 11 chapters released in a few years, when there are over 7 volumes out.

It's hard not to draw comparisons with D.gray-man whilst reading this. It's an interesting concept but the white haired orphaned boy with a unique and incredible power fighting evil just screams D.gray-man at me. However there are differences which make it different enough to read. The pace is very fast from what I've read so far and seems to focus more on fighting rather than character development and interactions which might get irritating after a while.

Despite the RPG-ish feeling It's pretty good actually. Good settings, good humour, good characters (i.e. both good and bad guys are likable), good art.Overall a nice read for action manhwa.
