It was fairly good, no doubt about that. Although I don't really like the setting of having tons of people from the same world or different worlds entering the same place(just makes things feel less special and otherworldly), it's not too bad.

I don't really like the previous manager, but I do like two of the girls thus far, the demi human and the sword loli. Actually, the only thing I'm truly curious about is the demi human, how she will grow and if she'll regain her humanity after being exposed to the mc enough. As for the rest, it wasn't anything special.

I liked it enough that I felt it was a shame that I didn't have more chapters to read, but not enough so that I'll go to read the novel, because there's truly much else to read that is better, no doubt about it. Recommended to waste some time with, don't expect anything that unusual though, we have a fairly normal japanese protagonist who is somewhat of a wimp, not that smart and not overly skilled yet unduly blessed and as it looks right now, we'll also have a harem for him with girls he never deserved soon enough.

Artwork tends to vary between detailed and 4-koma outlines. Premise was promising, but the plot isn't great. MC is able to accumulate a large number of girls quite quickly, which makes it confusing, since the characters are very 1-dimensional and forgettable. Main girl is actually the most interesting because of her backstory, but the mangaka doesn't really develop it in favor of fan service and focus on an incoherent plot.
However, the saving grace is that the battle sequences are better than most, interweaving a not-really-OP MC progression in skills and tactics. If they focused more on a smaller number of characters, the series would be better imo.

The premise is interesting, and the characters are, too. The art is great. The fight scenes are drawn well. And the author did a good job with character progression and drama that wasn't artificially forced... until it was.

Chapter 19 sees the writing go from decent to atrocious, with the main character forgetting he knows how to command and fight while gawking most of the time. The intelligence and reaction time of his party is suddenly nerfed as well.

There were easily 10 better ways of progressing the plot to the same ends without regressing its own characters and abandoning consistent characterization and plausibility.

Then it improves after the action dies down... only to once again nerf characters/regress them in order to make things dangerous.

Honestly, there's a part of me that wants to see this to completion, but I know this story is just going to pull the same unrealistic, unreasonable and unnecessary trick over and over and over. I don't trust this story to make sense in the long run.

It was an 8, now it's a 4.

Okay enough premise for an Isekai series. But holy crap is the pacing really really bad. Just when a chapter is getting interesting it stops often with a cliffhanger. And to compound the issue the chapters are not only short but released at a treacle pace by the mangaka. ONE YEAR and all we have gotten is a measly 7 chapters. BS.
