all the shotas look uber cute! i really love the way the mangaka draw them, so soft and round and innocent. and the seme are not bad either, cool and handsome. i can say the characters are very formulaic and simplistic, but it is a good cliche.
the stories are also quite good, easy to understand but have enough drama to keep me entertained. all in all, a good read.

Warning: Chapter 3 has shota content. Do not read if this is an issue for you. (I skipped that chapter upon realising and also added it into the genre on this series - why it wasn't already up there i dont know =/ )
Anyway, third chapter aside this isnt a bad collection of short stories.

What a wonderful story! The scalation team did a great job in aesthetics and flow, but the prized part was their inserts explaining a wee bit about the world of piano; it really enhanced the nuances of the story.

Even this early art of Yamato-sensei shows such a smooth and deft hand at story-telling with her unique combination of 'cute' and 'dark' uke and seme, behaviour and emotions. The art was some of Yamato-sensei's best! The first half of the book is the older brother's story; the second is the younger brother's story a few years later. They blend seamlessly and the themes arch beautifully together. The only hitch in the plotting was the swift and seemingly inexplixable motivation for the older brother's change of heart.

Overall, a very great tankobon. The smexy times are never explicit, but it was still sexy.

I really like yamato nase's work. The first 3 chapters were ok, btw each chapter revolve different stories except chap 1 & 2. The last 2 chapters was so funny in contrast to the first 3 chapters w/c were like drama/yaoi. Art is beautiful as always even though it was published in 1999. The stories was short but I'm satisfied with the ending.
