Description
Hidden deep within the sanctuary of the forest lives the Rangae species, who form a precious jewel within their hearts once they reach adulthood. Viola, a young Rangae, has yet to form one when her village is attacked by human hunters. It’s kinda boring despite the beautiful artwork. I was kinda liking this story but something the plot is so boring. After 50 chapters we see no improvement in the progress of saving rangae but just the Mc crying feeling hopeless. It was only until season 2 or chapters close to season 2 that we finally see something interesting happening.

Sheltered AF. She doesn’t even know the reality of her own world, let alone how to navigate human world. I felt annoyed with her the whole time since she couldn’t get her act together even after two years of “training” (whatever that means). She’s just so lackluster and mediocre.
Artwork is the only thing keeping this above a 1 cuz it sure as hell ain’t the leading characters…

The characters' facial expressions are very, very lacking.

It's really hard to sympathize with a character if they themselves look like they feel nothing inside. I tried—believe me I tried—to overlook the lack of facial expressions and simply focus on the story, but I couldn't. Because all the other characters also look like this 👁️👄👁️ all the damn time.
It would've been fine if only one character was expressionless (God knows there has to be at least one cold person in every story ever), but all of them? Seriously? Sometimes I even had to read the sfx to know what the characters were feeling because I legit couldn't tell from their faces. It's ridiculous.
The characters are all attractive and the story itself isn't bad, but I'd rather stare at a rock than force myself to read another chapter of this manhwa.

This is really interesting so far. The main character is from a different species to the humans and she suffers at human hands. Most of the humans around her seem to be trash, so I'm really hoping that at some point they are made to answer for their trashy-ness - especially the male lead. If he is to be the romantic interest then he has a lot of making up to do.
What I really couldn't stand was something that happened in chapter 15 (I think?). The main character had been really struggling with her grief, but then she meets the human prince who has had to endure many poisons to build a tolerance towards it and she therefore concludes that the way she had been acting up until then was 'throwing a tantrum'.
Um, what? Everyone you ever loved was killed, you were sold as a slave and forced to work amongst humans at a palace where there are so many murder attempts. Sure, you could have acted more maturely, but in reality - who would? After going through all that, who would be able to think straight?
'Throwing a tantrum'?! Are you serious? Nah.
