I agree with most of the comments on this, the plot is decent and enjoyable. But the characters are so disproportionate. And the absurdly high hair...having a hard time getting used to it. Art 2/10.

Half way through “Charlotte and Her 5 Disciples” a chord struck. “Hmm, this looks and feels a lot like “Black Haze”…”. Yep, it’s the same author/artist… I’d read Black Haze multiple times and was sad to see it go on haitus, but I think “Charlotte…” has more potential as a story. Many of the beats and jokes are similar, even the looming demonic threat has carried through. But Charlotte has plot conceits that are not shackled to the alpha of all clichés – schools! Funnily enough, demonic uprisings are more natural in a story involving a whole continent rather than the play ground where Timothy shoots his hoops before Math class.

While the potential is greater than Black Haze, the current entertainment value is similar. You could accuse “Charlotte…” of being a complete copy-pasta of the themes of “Black Haze” if it wasn’t for the fact they were tropes of this genre in the first place. But there is enough distinct personality of the author that it distinguishes itself. Frankly that’s all there really is to say about “Charlotte…” at the moment. I don’t expect there to be any narrative stakes, but give me some fun characters and scenarios and I’ll be along for the ride.

10/10 if Jeffery is the ML

The art style is fabulous and the content is very funny and interesting.

Interesting premise, and while the chapters are kind of short there are a lot of intriguing characters and funny dynamics.
