They did this manga dirty by ending it so soon. It had some of the funniest shit I’ve ever read.

Agravity Boys certainly has highs. There's moments (Brocoli Wars, the Penis Powers) that are unreached by other better manga overall. But then again there's also some real lows here. It's hard because when the gag is good the author riffs on it perfectly but when the gag is just boring or shock value fluff and the author tries and riffs it just doesn't work at all because that one gag is essentially going to be the next two or three chapters.

I think if you have the time you should read this however. It's highs are too good to be ignored that no matter what you have to wade through it's worth it.

Reading Agravity Boys is rather tough at times because of all the missed potential in what it could have been.

The comedy revolves heavily around gay-baiting. This can be a turn-off to some, but there is little in the way of any kind of genuine homosexuality in the manga, for better or worse.

From its starting line of a cast of 4 boys (leader, science, muscle, and trap) trapped on an alien planet as the last remaining humans being tormented by a godlike alien presence it meanders around without direction and very little adventure.
Jokes heavily revolve around the trap being sexy to the other boys, with occasional hits of bara-style images from the Muscle or other similar near pin-up shots of the other boys.

If you're the type to really enjoy that stuff there are some great laughs here, it got me a few times.
But its very much a same-y experience week to week and there are times where the comedy gets eclectic to the point of being more disturbing or awkward than funny.

Great experience when it's awesome but disappointing that the author couldn't go all the way and ended up feeling rushed.

If it was given 100+ chapters chance I can see it peak even higher.
