Deals with grief and the aftermath of the loss of loved ones. Very touching, and heartwarming, but also bittersweet. Both characters feel the hurt from the loss, but they feel guilt and shame which makes it hard for them to fully connect. After reading, I also felt a bit sad over the death as they really try to draw you in and give you insight to the character as he was before he died, to better understand how important he was to both characters. I'm looking forward to re-reading this one in the future.
