Might as well have him in ai mode the whole time. There is nothing special about him outside of the system and the system controls and defines more and more of the series as you progress further in. That might be interesting if you were setting up for his over reliance on the system to bite him in the ass by it being unable to or unwilling to help him somewhere, but there have been no signs of that yet. The MC never feels in danger as the system is seemingly omnipotent and the closer he is to death the greater and greater its asspulls for him so he's never in real danger. Even that could be acceptable if the series gave weight to his pain and suffering, but he gets tortured and beat constantly and has no reaction beyond thinking "I'll get revenge in the future!"

It also makes the delightful choice to codify its characters with real mental health disorders and happily perpetuates stereotypes about them. Did you know when people with BPD get paranoid suspicions, they turn homicidal to the people closest to them? This series "knows" that so happily perpetuates that incredibly harmful stereotype!

The premise is interesting, (see the summery). But this isn't a transmigration or reincarnation story so the way he reacts the the system is a bit interesting. I'm also interested to see if they ever end up explaining the system and how it interacts with the world, it almost seems like he's a sentient NPC in a game without a main character (at least so far). And the respawn mechanic is also quite novel.
