Description

So, I'm usually not a fan of love triangle stories because they're usually framed as "Mc is in love with both people" and that drives me nuts.
So I was initially happy with this one since that's not th case. The Mc loved one guy and can't get over him, and another shows up to try and win his love instead.
But. My god. The ex is horrendous. Firstly, did they ever have a relationship? Not really. They told each other nothing. Never spoke of anything important. Hid any information that would have allowed them to get closer.
AND IT WAS BY DESIGN.
The ex straight up admits he was manipulative. Not only that, he says he agreed to break up because he always planned to just waltz back in and get back together eventually.
MANIPULATIVE AS SHIT.
And yet the Mc loves him? And falls for it? After being told all that?
Garbage.
