Another interesting new series that has been dealt the axe, even though its serialization began only five months ago. I expected this series to at least run for 30 chapters or more before it was cancelled, only for it to end at just 19, which is a huge disappointment. The main reason I started reading Candy Flurry is because we were finally given another female lead to star in a battle shounen manga and the food related power system which reminded me of Toriko.

I really think Shonen Jump should be more merciful when it comes to cancelling new series because most of the currently running series like Jujutsu Kaisen and My Hero Academia are going to end eventually, even One Piece is (supposedly) ending in five years and if so then lets hope Shonen Jump has a game plan because if not this magazine's future looks pretty grim
