Surprised no ones commented on this yet - 30 whole chapters translated. I enjoyed it, read through all 30 in no more than an hour though, simply because this is a "pure shounen", so much of the cliched dialogue can be ignored.

Don't expect romance, don't expect gore, don't expect to fully understand the storyline. Expect what you'd expect from most shounens - Warm fuzzy feelings when the good guy does the right thing, and laughs at the quirky little jokes that actually seem funny now and then.

B.t.w. You don't need to read the prequel to get this. From what I can tell nothing happened of importance in the prequel, or at least everything that happened was in some way canceled out or taken out of the picture for THIS manga.

Semi-good standalone, but horrible as a sequal

Standard shounen fare. The first series was pretty darn good as it waited till the last battle to do the usual lawlPower vs Lawlpower. Everything in the first series was more about utlizing your powers to the fullets in a mix of brain and brawn. The first series gave you time to genuinly care about the characters.

This "Sequal" is everything the previous is not, and not in the good way. I cant help but feel that the Manga-ka decided to just scrap this manga and opted for a fast ending. I have to admit, i did not like at all the it started, but i still gave it a chance hoping the manga-ka would pull out some interesting stuff. Also i like the first series so much so i was hoping for the same love and effort to be put here. It was sadly not. Won't spoil ofcourse but the the first 4 volumes really did a good a job of introducing and starting off the Plus manga. Then volume 5 kicks you in the balls. The Manga finishes itself and all the central problems in 1 volume. The entire last volume was rushed out so fast that if you blink once, you miss it. I didn't like the plot twist, but i was also willing to accept it as long as it was fully given time to write itself out. But since the plot twist as well as EVERYTHING is solved pretty much in the last couple of chapters not far from when it was introduced, I feel like I didn't read some chapters. Heck, i feel like I missed some volumes. The fact that you can seriously read this without reading the prequal means this also fails as a sequal. But if you did read the 1st series first, the love you had for it doesnt transfer over to this at all since this Plus series is 1 giant reset button.

No offense to the manga-ka. But do yourself a favor. Read the prequal first. If you really loved the prequal, then dont read this one. The 1st series has an ending that already wraps itself nicely. Honestly, after reading this, i may just write my own doujin about how Plus "could've" been.

Time Killers

The sequel to Law of Ueki and still pretty good. Like how metamike commented before, it is a generic shounen, but not the ones that make you throw up. It is an especially good time killer, something to kill the time. As a shounen, the chapters kind of give a good suspense at the end of each scanlation. If you like supernatural power, persistant hero shounens, then i recommend this book. everything metamike said, i agree on and i dont really have anything bad to comment on except for low popularity.
