The first couple of chapters were hilariously funny with just the right dose of romance. This changed, however, in the latter half; I found myself skimming through the pages. There were still very sweet and funny moments but not of the same caliber as the first chapters.

Normally these issues wouldn't keep me from giving this series a higher score but the female MC (I don't even remember her name anymore) got pretty annoying with her bouts of tears. I don't think there is a chapter without her crying -- she's that bad.

It was entertaining, an easy read as well. I liked the manga...the female protagonist, I wish she would be a stronger woman. I was surprised by the male protagonists
'S sharing of feelings. I don't see it usually in many manga. I'm still not sure about some of his character traits and actions.

If it wasn't so long I would've given it 10, but somewhere in the middle of it I was kinda bored.. I personally don't like very long mangas that are long for no reason. The story was very good at first, but for me it kept deteriorating. I anticipated the sex for long (which is good and I like it that way) but when the sex parts finally came, they didn't end. every chapter just had to end with a sex scene and I find no purpose in that ^^"
To me it felt like "whoa wayyy too much smut". I know, I'm crazy! there's no such thing as "too much smut", but these are my feeling for this one.
All in all I recommend reading it and at times just skipping the idle parts

Actually, I love all of Enjouji Maki-sensei works, but this is my "favorite" one and the most favorite romance manga I ever read. The art, storyline, and overall is just perfect that I hope there will be a sequel for this manga. RECOMMENDED ONE XD

Hapi Mari isn't one of those romance mangas that are boring as hell. It's one were you see the ups and downs of a marriage. It isn't one of those that are over dramatized. It truly feels like how a marriage would be in real life. Chiwa may be an idiot but she tries her best in anything she does.

Crybaby Chiwa who cry more often plus the fights and shouting and the slap she received from her husband twice...

Forget all those things above and this manga would fine enough with 5 volumes.

I like how the love wasn't instant, and it took some time before the main characters were an actual wife and husband. It does help that Hokuto is pretty good looking. I enjoyed the story and I always wanted to read more all the time; I even wanted to read it twice. I also enjoyed the love between Hokuto and Chiwa; I could tell they had a genuine love for each other and that's important to me. Even though the ending was good, I wish we'd seem a bit more (like maybe a few years after the wedding ceremony). The only thing I didn't like was how the Chiwa cried in almost every volume. That got annoying. But I guess she made up for it for doing something a bit bold. She is still a weak character, but I don't mind her that much now.

Let me ask you this, cause I am non-asian. Is it against Japanese traditions, life style, upbringing to ask straight forward questions?
The synopsis seemed attractive and entertaining so I started reading. Then it did start getting repetitive like stated by others. After a while it started getting exhausting to keep reading. I have however this sickness I have to finish the manga I have started so I keep reading. At least the art is fine. Chiwa was simply cute with her ditzy way at the beginning. Now she is just annoying. As another character in the manga states, all she does is cry and I wonder if she even goes to the bathroom without speaking first to/getting the permission from Hokuto.
I understand, accept even expect a little; a certain level of ditzyness from the heroin of a shoujo manga but when a 23 year old woman breaks down at every turn and bump I suspect mental retardation. And when a 23 year old woman makes her husband her sole purpose of living, source of happiness I recommend urgent counseling. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying you shouldn't be devoted to your husband nor that his happiness is not important. But if it is the SOLE reason for your being then you are neither cute nor smart. Thus my exhaustion and annoyance with this Manga. Also, the guy is not 100% in the head either but I am too exhausted of this manga to go into detail.
If you can forgo of logic and have time on hand with which you do not know what to start, it is an ok manga with decent art to waste time.

As many before me said this manga started so well and it lasted till maybe 20-something chapter.After that it became repetitive and for me personally boring.
I love how relationship between Chiwa and Hokuto developed and i loved their fights but i think some were unecessary.Chiwa at start was really awesome and she did alot of things for Hokuto.Its funny how at start she believed him when he said he wont cheat but later on doubted him all the time.In the latest chapters she kept crying and doubting him which was annoying me so much i wanted to slap her...so yeah,i also think that Hokuto didnt do anything wrong when he slaped her twice.Just like she did to him because of words he said,she deserved it for what she said to him.Now i dont support violence but you cant put what happened here to that folder.And anyway when we women are so up on being equal in everything,why cant man slap a woman when she hurts him?
One more thing,in latest chapters it felt like Hokuto apologized too much.
Now about art i adore,clean and big,not confusing
Oh and about sex...for me it blended nicely into story,it was sweet and at moments hot XD

All in all it was fun read and i recommend to people who like bit of comedy and romance with some sex scenes mixed in
