LOL

This mangaka's sense of humour seems a bit out there but I somehow have taken a liking to it, haha. The absurdity of the story and characters accumulates to the silly jokes, and sometimes a bit of stupidity like this is needed for us to balance out too. The story on the one hand is frankly rather predictable and shallow, but on the other hand it does offer a good laugh for people who are more open-minded. I suppose the manga's alright for the most parts.

honestly, this is one of my favorite yaoi comedies.
i would constantly catch myself laughing out loud at yuu's crazy behavior

like when he runs away with shuuji while wearing a wedding dress. haha lolzz

it's just...so hilariously awesome!! P:

i defnitely recommend this if your not expecting something too deep but want a good, lighthearted laugh. (:

I Expected More

I had high expectations because it is rare to see a yaoi manga where one of the characters has a fetish for cross-dressing, and I wanted to see it dealt with in more of an expansive way.

This story illustration was beautiful and sparkly at times with the over-the-top drama of Yuu.

Plot-wise, it was loosely gathered together and fell flat to me and it didn't redeem itself with humour, like My Violent Boyfriend.

between the comedic and the serious elements; i actually would have preferred this one to be more serious. i kept wanting it to dig a little deeper, but it just didn't. i guess araya-san mostly does pure comedy, this manga has the most serious moments of any of hers i've read. so it kept me wanting for more, and left me feeling a bit hollow.

but who else turns stupid yaoi conventions on their head by creating a cross-dressing seme? and he still looks like a man, albeit a beautiful one, which is quite the feat. i can't usually stand crossdressing in yaoi because it's either too damn cutesy, or often used in ways that are derogatory to women. but araya-san deftly avoids doing either here; she neither girlifies yuu, nor does she humiliate him. he's simply a gorgeous guy who happens to like dressing in women's clothing,

The characters are drawn better inside the manga and are rather nice too look at...this volume in particular is pretty funny, involves a lot of crossdressing semes.

I really like Miki's sensei works. Loves it. Especially Violence kimi ga suki.
