Description

Kaede transferred to a boarding school so that he would be able to look for his brother. They had been separated when they were still kids. There, he got to know a popular guy named Senoo Subaru (Kou). Kaede did not really like the presumptuous Senoo at first, but later on he found out that in the underground room where Senoo and his buddies usually met, clues as to his brother’s whereabouts could be found. On top of that, when Kaede’s longing for his brother was getting stronger and stronger, Senoo suddenly said the exact same things that Kaede’s brother had said…

"Spoilers" ahead : Tsubaki and kaede were half brothers (same mother different father) after some things shown in the manga the mother separtes from that man and marries another man (who happens to be senoo's father) so senoo and tsubaki became step brothers And tsubaki talked a lot about his half brother to senoo hence the reason why senoo already knew a lot about Kaede. I don't really think it was hard to understand, it was an ok manga, not bad and nothing really great, but nice short read. I particularly liked that Senoo was not really who Kaede was looking for, that would had been too obvious..

What? No one's writing any reviews?! Anyway, I finished reading this just now and although I think that the plot is easy to understand and all but the problem is the complicated relationships between the adults and boys. I understand what happened to Kaede's brother but then who exactly is Kaede's brother to Senoo? Are both of them real brothers? Step-brothers? Is Kaede's mother, Senoo's stepmother or real mother?
It's slightly confusing on that part since it's not clearly stated. But overall, it's pretty nice to read minus the complicated relationships. The art was okay, not very awesome, just decent. Not very sure if it's recommendable, but if you could figure out the complex relationship, probably you'll enjoy it?

...might have made for an excellent drama/mystery if it had been stretched out over a couple more volumes. As it is, the romance is rushed, the mystery has barely begun before the truth is revealed, and none of the potential shown by the 4 named characters is adequately exploited.
(But since I've rated most yaoi I've read lower than 5, the above is actually a pretty good rating by my standards: at least Gin no Kaijutsu showed some potential -- which is more than can be said of the average BL manga)
