First of all, the art is a real eyecatcher, the drawing style seems rather realistic and not typically "manga-like". I think, that you need time to get used to it, but it gives the stories a sense of realism or seriousness. The drawings itself are not that stunning beautiful and the artist needs to work on it more, but they are not bad as well.

The stories are very good. The headliner "Kaede no koi" is truly a brilliant story, in my opinion. It has such an unexpected ending and the storyline and dialogues are thought over very well.
The last story, Shitteru kedo shiranai, is also done very nicely and I like the story a lot.
Shimotsuki Miri seems to be able to write stories which surprise the reader and I adore her for those two stories.
The others inbetween are ok, too, but not as distinguished like my favourites.

I'd love to read more from her, I really do...! I also wish there was more shojo-mangaka drawing in a style like this.
