I must be a very strange girl to like this. But I ended up liking it after it was lended to me because it's a great comedy, has sort of a plotline, interesting characters, and is a lighthearted read so you don't have to worry about having to think too hard or dealing with any drama.
Awesome!

Some other manga comedies start to wear me down after a while with their repetitive qualities, but this one stays fresh. The planning the author did to introduce important characters over many volumes paid off, allowing the relationships to slowly grow more and more complex.
If the plot had been that complex from the start, it would have been confusing or at least exhausting to keep up with. By slowly introducing new characters, the relationship-driven humor never grew old in the first part of the series, and in the latter part when the main characters have been established, the richness of their interactions, along with the introduction of subplot-specific characters, keeps the humor fresh and the plots involving.
This is a minor point, but FYI... Where athletic-type bras appear in the art in the US, breasts appear in the art in Japan. That's the full extent of the "ecchi," so be reassured. Or hopeful. Or offended. But it didn't bother me.
@ajmanga, I don't think you are a very strange girl to like this--unless I am a very strange 40-year-old woman... I guess that *is* a possibility.

Awesome series, absolutely love it. Been reading to vol. 17 now and it is still good. Not like the anime where it is super kiddy. The manga holds its uniqueness each volume and continues to make good laughs.
Addicting!
