it was a great manga with little drama and misunderstandings. the heroine is pretty smart or stupid in some cases. the characters are goofy especially the brother and sometimes just fun. i really did wish for the heroine to end up witht he teacher. i felt so sad when i heard he was leaving. i cried so much! I didn't like it at the beginning... But it got better as I read towrads the end, so I finished it. Nice composing, by the way. It's simple, but very amusing. Can't say "WOW bestseller", but it is deffinetly something interesting.
Ah, and size(7 vols) was just about right. Feels like a complete story - which is rare for manga these days. "5-7" - favoriter vols... hehe

I must say I really doubted this manga at first, but after I started reading it, for the oddest reason I became really addicted. I think it was because of how real and down to earth the story seemed, rather than the typical cheesy love story. It was also very touching, and I really liked the character development.

I really like this manga. The heroine is unique and isn't your typical shoujo manga heroine that's weak. The only complain I have is that she didn't end up with who I wanted her to be with, but it's still good.
Solid read

This was a lot of fun to read. I thoroughly enjoyed the style and pacing. It had an assortment of comedy (from off-the-wall to slapstick to random), low angst that still hit some nice dramatic high notes, and best of all, great characters.
The character development and the flow of the story is what kept me in. Kaijitsu's growth was quite enjoyable to watch. The story flowed well going from character to character while keeping Kaijitsu in the middle of it all. In that aspect, it kinda reminded me of series' like Kare Kano, where the story isn't just about one or two characters.
Ah, I also enjoyed the more mature approach to the relationships. This is definitely Shoujo but it didn't have as much of that "Shoujo fluff" for relationships. That was a treat.
Additionally, the side stories had lots of love when they were building up but most of them got closed off too quickly. It's as if Mizuki Shioko ran out of time and had to suddenly finish things off.
Though I have complaints, as a whole, I really enjoyed this series. It was a relatively light read with fun characters. Definitely worth checking out.

With all that said, I have complaints with the last couple volumes. As was noted by someone below, the story regressed towards the end. Things changed a bit in the story, especially regarding Natsu. Kaijitsu's growth was exciting to read but Natsu evolved into something a bit different than expected. This leads in to how I feel the ending was a bit cheesy.

Despite the fact that this /is/ shoujo with one of your common plots, I love the humor and the characters. =) And, yes, at a point it was sort-of addictive. I guess I just wanted to finish it the moment I started it, LOL.

When I first started reading Crossroad, I really liked it. Although, I really disliked the ending. That's why I gave it a 7. It was really good in the beginning but then it really started to loose its appeal to me in the last two volumes.

This one is so enjoyable and fun to read, the characters are likeable, and the main heroine isn't you typical brainless, spineless character, it's refreshing and i recommend it to every one.
