This one could have been so good if it had another chapter. What kind of ending is that? This is not ended, looks more like the start of a story that hasn't been continued. So dissatisfying sad
I don't mind when oneshot's have the ending kinda open because oneshot's are too short to be perfect most of the time. This one has a truly beautiful art, good characters and a simple but interesting plot. But the endig is not open, it's just nonexistent. Why did Katou-sensei decide to end it there? Even if you want to left an story open and unfinished, you should try to wrap everything a little more. I hope I hadn't read this sad

Well, it's true all of Katou sensei's works lack something, but even with this, this one is great I think. It has enough intensity and depth to overcome the few flaws here.

On the negative side, it does is a bit rushed and looks more cut for a whole volume. This explains why we don't get enough details, for example on why the brother is so unconcerned about his senpai. And some could think this makes the evolution of the story or the relationships not credible.
But on the positive side, I found Eiji's caring for Matsushiro really touching, and the evolution of their relationship makes sense and seems real. The story-telling was great too. And the ending was perfect for me, so sad and beautiful at the same time, leaving us enough space to imagine what happens next. And the art of course is wonderful, like in all her others works... well, I have to say I'm a sucker for good art ^^'

But really, I found the story interesting and beautiful enough to overlook the rush on the story.

There are a lot of one-shots with great art. So if you picked this with the intention of getting a good read since the art's inviting, don't bother. :/ This one-shot feels like it was cut out from a one volume manga. In other words, it's the kind of pages you get from sneak peeks.
