Both stories are a bit underwhelming considering what they could have been.
This one was okay. The art was great as usual. The shop owner guy was...nuts. No concept of reality, basically. But whatever. Also, I didn't think the main story needed so many chapters.
The second story about the video game guy was kind of...blah. Also, it had cousins hooking up which, if you have a cousin like I do, is a pretty huge turnoff. Like, massive.

First story was -ok-. Could have been better if the author had decided to make the uke more tolerable. The gem in this manga was the second story, loved it and wish they would have been the main couple instead.

The beginning was quite good and after the first chapter I thought this seems interesting! However... well... it turned out not to be as special as I wanted it to be. It was good overall though. Storywise that is. The 5th chapter includes a oneshot, which is cute. The art is gorgeous as always from ABE Akane. If one has the spare time this is still an entertaining read, just dont expect anything out of the ordinary.
I'd love to enjoy this manga more than I did tbh. It's got its cute moments but they were ultimately overshadowed by the clumsily handled story and unnecessary (and boring) angst. I'm also not very attached to both main characters, so a love story about them isn't exactly going to grab me much. It's really such a shame because I absolutely adore this mangaka's artwork, she's clearly gotten better with time and her art was already good to start with. The only character I'm remotely invested in was precious Hotaru but alas, he doesn't have his own story in this volume. I guess I'll move on to the spin-off now, and I can only hope it will be more interesting than its prequel.
