Description
From Storm in Heaven:
Last year, Taichi nearly died on a snowy mountain, but was saved by his best friend, Shinobu. The only problem is that Taichi doesn't remember a thing about this so-called childhood friend of his! Assuming his memories will return, Taichi keeps this little secret to himself until, a year later, he suddenly finds himself with a much bigger secret. You see, Shinobu is more than he seems, and Taichi might not have actually survived that night on the snowy mountain!

So this is a romance between a zombie and some sort of magical abominable snowman, facilitated by the fact that the zombie is rotting and therefore must stay near the snowman to stay fresh. Absolutely the most bizarre contrivance I've ever come across in any genre, and yet it still manages to feel stale and rehashed.
A pretty funny and enjoyable read. The elements about the snow man were fairly interesting as well as his relations and effects on others. A shame that the writing could not decide whether to be serious or to be light-hearted and constantly veered off in a lot of random directions like being heavily comedic in 1 moment and having a heavy mystery feel in another. As a result, you get a story and cast that are interesting but which aren't really fleshed out by the end of the story, apart from the main basic storyline, that is. Nevertheless, still enjoyable provided you don't expect too much from the plot.
