Nice read, good borderline hentai stuff.
This is way better than porn as it has everything you need to imagine it with some nice story attached to it. Also it does not explore "weird" fetishes, much, just uses real possible situations (except the wardrobe connection) to make an ero story. Awesome read if you are into this kind of stuff, I'd say to most men to give it a try.

Side project
by Lightbrand
January 9th, 2013, 8:53pm
Rating: 7.0  / 10.0
While this isn't drawn by Mr. Elfenlied, he wrote the story. So in between juggling this and his other work Gokukoku no Brynhildr, the side project is to be expected to have some quality issues.

The premise of the story follows another Romeo and Juliet in that two lovebirds cannot be together due to social standing, the female lead especially puts up a facade due to her strict discipline by her family that she appears to be aloof and disinterested in the male lead. Of course we then need a plot device to get them to interact, and we have a pretty bad one.

Because of the magazine this is published in and its standard, status quo, and demographic, there needs to be "softcore" scenes in every chapter (like To-Love-Ru Darkness), so the plot device made it happen through a very contrived way.

(Un)forunately, the plot device encompasses too narrow of a field in terms of further expansion and drive that could keep the manga going. There's only so much you can do given this premise with max 3 or 4 ideas before you run out. And so it did, and the story has to end.

And it did. The overarching problem presented in chapter 1 (the Romeo/Juliet problem) gets resolved rather simply, and that's that. Can't even really say it's rushed ending or axed, although I was hoping to see something more creative for the final resolution rather than this, for a lack of better term: cop-out.

Atrocious Dialogue

Have to agree with residentgrigo, this author can't write. The male lead is defined by his interactions with her, he has no personality outside of that. The female lead as an ojou who is secretly a tomboy, but these are archetypes not personality traits. There is no depth to their relationship besides the fact that its forbidden due to class differences. The author just cherry picked the most cliche romance tropes and threw them together without thinking about characterization. I'm just waiting for the hierarchical evil old rich fiance to show up and talk about how poor people are all trash and deserve to lick his boots. I've read hentai that had better writing than this.

Still Okamoto-ish, but with milder taste.

Nevertheless, The author is one of those that I "really wanted to avoid, but still reading it in the end" (The others is Dal-Young and few more). Still, maybe this series will become an exception in this case. At first I'm pretty dissapointed that Yokoyari-sensei ends up with this delusional author after Haruwaka finished it's serialization, but I hope I'm wrong this time because so far, it looks promising.

Story-wise, I can't tell much since only 2 chapters released but it (still) have those sentences that can "stab" your heart. But, maybe because this is a co-op work, the feeling's much brighter than his usual works.
Art-wise, I don't have any complaints but I have to warn you: This series will have lots of H-Scene, just like Haruwaka did.

Overally, I will give this series an 8 and If It's still like that in the future, I think it can become an alternative for Okamoto's "exhilarating" works.

So the story starts off with the protagonists both knowing that they like each other. So what's the whole story about? The tsundere girl just being mean to the guy the whole time while doing a 180 for 1 hour per day?

I'll have to see how the story progresses, but the concept is interesting.

The final straw

It is official: Okamoto Lynn can´t write as this sad excuse for a manga is bottom of the barrel garbage.
Don´t ask me how the equally unrecommendable Studio Arms managed to adapt his messy Elfen Lied into a mostly good anime but they did and it will be the author’s sole legacy. The manga´s art form the porn artist may be ok but that can´t save anything here and the narrative is the textbook definition of misogyny run amok.
Never again will i touch a manga written by him. Natsu no Zenjitsu (9/10) is how a sex focused manga needs to look and Sensei o Mite Kudasai (7,5/10) is even a good hentai so read those.

its weird that a manga using H-scene will make you emotional instead of horny
but yes it did
I happen to have a similar love to this one (a boyish yet long hairedpretty girl) that did end after a misunderstanding
I hope i'm not wrong about this one but its promising and may teach us to be more honest with ourselves

The art

I've really wanted to read this since the Alien/Magician manga from the author. But I'm kind of disappointed by the art. The art reminds me too much of Momoiro Sango. At least the guy reminds me of it, the girl's pretty, but then when she's horny, it brings me back to Momoiro Sango.

I'm hoping another girl tries to snatch the guy, so honesty, you know the girl be more honest.

Although I don't foresee this being a long series simply because of it's fanservice based theme (though popularity of such things are unpredictable), it has an interesting plot in which makes this title interesting to read. I recommend it for casual reading. Normally, series with similar stories like this, tend to drag on forever.

Heartful fanservice amid emotional tension and a fast-paced plot.

You could call this a cross between Love Hina and an ero manga. The female lead is the "brazenly sexually needy, yet tsundere about it" character type. To a lesser extent, she's also a "perfect, prideful ojou-sama" sort of character; I think that most readers would find her quite attractive. Anyway, there's lots of fanservice--the very sexual kind.

However, this isn't just blatant H. The panels contain a whole lot of the male lead's inner considerations, and there are a lot of emotional and heartfelt conversations between the two leads. The leads don't have a lot of complexity yet in my opinion, but that's because the author writes primarily plot-driven stories (see Gokukoku no Brynhildr), and in spite of that, the leads are still skillfully characterized in the way that they express themselves, and the artist properly renders them cute or beautiful as fits the scene.
