This manga relies on its characters than most stories rely on their plot and that's likely because every character here is special.
You will see characters be introduced, often as a hurdle to 'overcome' and later you and Inari realize that -- just maybe -- that the person you were both writing-off had feelings, too. Within this story you will read of sorcery and sociology, hopefully answering taboos that exist only to crush one's spirit. Is it taboo because you're in love, mustn't you correct the mistakes made in the name of love? What if they won't love me back?
Inari attempts to solve these questions by using other peoples answers, often gaining confidence through someone else in more ways than one. But the more she adopts another's facade she knows less of from whom that confidence is coming from.

Very light comedy

This comedy is very light, there is nothing major plot behind he scenes nor apocalyptic weapons nor a handsome bishounen flipping into the main character's life and stealing her heart away and stuff like that. At it's core, it's hard to see at first but this story is about feelings, for one side we have the feelings that create a character's persona, feelings of over protection, or wanting to share, or wanting to experience, feelings of innocence or simply earnest feelings; on the other side we have the feelings of "love" and "wanting to love".
The writing style and the way the story unveils is very refreshing, the way the characters portray themselves is interesting and eventually they sneak upon you, making you care for them.... this is when the feelings of "being themselves" touch the reader; the feelings of love are also clearly explained and one of the strongest grabs of the story: you can't describe the story as "a cheap harem" or "a cheap love triangle", characters change their perspective, experience more things and explain themselves better; in fact some of the side love stories in this work are strong enough to carry on the manga by themselves; in fact while I do like Inari's quest for love, I have to admit that eventually the possible story of Uka's -the Goddess that gave Inari her powers- has become my favorite thing about the manga.
As long as you don't hate lighthearted not plot heavy stories and female perspective strongly present in the story, this one should score highly on your books, as it does gets better with time. By chapter 3 I really "liked it" and by chapter 10 this one is within my reading top priorities, and perhaps it will get better from now on.

Having a high ranking Goddess who longs for a normal life unawarely falling in love with a Chuunibyou overprotective older brother who is kinda insensitive is way more interesting that what's originally advertized. In fact, when the older brother slapped the Goddess with a bug catcher for being too lazy I quietly thought to myself "these two need to happen"

When I first saw the synopsis of this series, I thought "Oh great, another child-turned-super hero manga." But as I read each chapter, I became more and more immersed in the heartwarming little girl known as Inari. Each character stand out in their own way, although the story mainly focuses on Inari and Uka's problems. In fact, USING her power seems to create more problems than it solves...
Suffice to say, I find this manga a gem and an adorable read.

Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha. is definitely not what one would expect from a series about a girl who gains the power to transform into other people. In fact, it's not about the transformations at all. It's about how Inari (the main character) grows and develops as she learns not to rely on this ability to help her in difficult situations. It's really an unbelievably adorable series.
All the characters are fairly strong on their own, though, arguably, everyone other than Inari remains largely static. Understandable, really, since the entire series is about Inari's growth.
Would I recommend this series to everyone? Yes, of course. Is it for everyone? No, I don't think so. If you come into this manga expecting a lot of flashy transformations, misunderstandings galore, and caricature villains, you'll be disappointed. At its heart, Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha. is really a slice-of-life series that's more character-focused on plot-focused. But that's what I like about it, really.

Reading the summary, I totally misunderstood what the story was going to be about. I'm glad I tried the anime though, because this series is surprisingly very nice and charming
Pretty funny too, especially them gods acting all silly~
In a way its also a slice-of-life about Japanese Shinto gods lol.
Oh and it also has plenty amount of FEELS! lol. Which is actually quite nice and not the annoying type.
I only read the manga after I finished the anime though, and thank God I did because the manga is a WHOLE lot better than the anime (and the anime was already quite nice). Not to mention, the anime skips a LOT of stuff and changes much of what actually happened in the manga, like the locations and order of events. The anime was also way too short (10 episodes!) and ended way too early with what practically is a cliffhanger.
Highly recommended.
Inari is a sweet and adorable little girl, and Uka-sama is a lovely lady

this was really nice, i hesitated for years because i don't like girl protagonist, But this was different. I thought she would keep transforming just to get the guy but that was all wrong. the ending left me bittersweet.

A heartwarming and often very funny title about when humans and gods interact. If you're reading the scanlations, be warned that for around the first dozen chapters, the translation becomes pretty appalling, but it's worth pushing on because the quality suddenly rises to pretty much professional level after that (thanks AM!).

This manga series is seriously amazing, it has the cutest pairs, best art, just the right amount of fantasy, light-hearted comedy, and seriously sad parts which have made me cry over 20 times. I love it to the core and my only wish is for the whole series to be updated and scanalated so I can read it all to the end<3

Typical misunderstand between characters cause complicated relationship and unnecessary confusing shit. If you just take the misunderstand part out, this story would disappear. Also, there're lot of annoying side characters.
On the other hand, the both couples are cute, so if you you just read it for what it is, it could provide you some sweet time. Not recommend for those can't handle shoujo stuff though.
