First off, this series isn't great but it's not remotely as bad as some of these reviewers say. I'm also amazed by just how bloodthirsty they are, their preferred method of solving a problem being to kill someone.
One of the classic time-travel conundrums is: if you could go back in time would you kill Adolf Hitler? This has been answered in many ways (including Godwin's Law of Time Travel) and this series attempts presents a more difficult version of the question because the MC is completely innocent. He has not nor will he do anything wrong.
As for the science of viruses... without getting into too many details there are viruses that write themselves into a person's DNA as a step in their reproduction and they do mutate at times when doing so. It's theoretically possible that a virus could mutate in a particular way when infecting a person with a certain gene sequence. It's not any less believable than the stuff that occurs in most shounen series.

I'll try not to talk about what most of the past reviews have already mentioned, such as killing off the protagonist, "suspension of disbelief pushed out the window", etc. etc.
I still have to say though: The story's got a pretty cruel premise, practically forcing our protagonist to only be able to love his childhood friend and no other girl in the entire world, because after all, if he happens to fall in love with another girl... All of humanity will break out into total chaos.
The author has essentially mixed a typical romantic goal with an incredibly devastating consequence if the protagonist is unable to fulfill the goal. This is why I can never see this series as a romantic comedy, especially given the issue that the protagonist is a total idiot. Rather than feel incredibly distraught toward his potential that could destroy most of humanity, he sees this as an opportunity to help fulfill his crush on his childhood friend, to which they'll get married!
[I guess worrying about the fate of humanity isn't worth taking seriously...]
If the author took it down a notch, keeping the whole "our love must be fate" shtick + the future/time-travel elements, yet threw away the whole "end of humanity" consequence, I think it would've been somewhat of a more compelling story. With what we're given though, damnation doesn't need to be taken seriously.

I have a few issues with the logic of the story:
1. If the kid can't have any kids why don't they go back in time and give him a vasectomy?
2. They could just kill him and be done with it.
3. If the virus wipes out humanity why would someone profit off of it?
4. Genes would not create a virus, they are inherited traits. The most that would happen is having children with a life threatening disease that could not spread to other people.
And im not even gonna start on the characters.

The ridiculousness is seen in only 1 chapter.

Same lame romance comedy plot of a loser in love with his childhood friend and vice versa but they don't know. The twist however is so wild that it pushes your suspension of disbelief out the window leaving you only to see how stupid the story will be.
If all of humanity is gonna be wiped out because ONE person gets it on with the wrong girl you would think they'd send this agent back to kill him but instead they send him back to make sure this manga ends just like EVERY other romance manga.
To recommend this to anyone would not only be a crime but a sin.

I have to agree with most everyone else. If the whole future of mankind is left up to him not producing offspriing with anyone except his chilhood friend, then why chance it? Killing him would be the only sure way to save mankiind. I mean, what if his has an affair? If somthing like this was really true, i think the government would kill him without hesitation. What if he had an affair later in life.
I use to not mind manga like this, but i rather read somthing serious with a smi realistic plotline over this slapstick so called love comedy..

This isn't breaking any new ground but it is interesting. The explanation as to why they do not just do the whole terminator thing or anything very drastic is explained in less than ten chapters so do not let that hold you back from this series.
Besides...
I would say this is a mix of Terminator and My Balls. Though the main male is pathetic and the main female is the standard moron, the "Terminator" of the story is the real star of the series and makes this worth a read.
edit: This has a fair amount of fanservice and facepalm humor so it is not for every one. I personally am a fan of the former and not the latter but Raito left me with an overall favorable impression of the story so far.

this manga would be better if they change setting and lead to Raito as MC and it's not about he must marry his childhood etc to save future but he in the future fight against all ability user to save the day of the world in the future that would be suitable story imo
seriously Raito is the only one likeable character for me,he completely put in the wrong place by the author

First off... Why would you randomly believe some guy that comes up to you and says the world is going to end if you make the wrong decision by being with any other woman than your childhood friend. Lets thing logically, maybe the future guy might be the evil one and being with your childhood friend would cause the impending doom of the earth. Which means the ones who are trying to prevent this from happening would be the ones who are trying to get other girls too get it on with the MC. If the good guys are trying to stop the world from ending why won't they just get it over with and kill the MC, a bullet proof plan right there! Also why would anyone want to try make the virus and end the world, how does it benefit them? The most probable thing I could see in the future is the "evil person" has found a cure to the virus and is making a large amount of money by selling it. There are too many flaws in chapter 1 that caused me to facepalm myself.

Kinda hard to say anything after 3 chapters, but we all know, where this is going already. Start + Loop this: Some random girl, tries to have sex with and he stop her, he c*ckblocks it x 999 times. And although the same thing, happens day after day, he's too stupid to buy condoms. + In the end, he'll get "the girl" and they live crappily ever after. And blah blah blah.
Well, I at least hope, that the author knows, that "Sex with women = Children !" ain't true. And of course, there are no such things as anal sex, condoms or vasectomy. No, no, no...

As many people have already pointed out, the story is just so flawed you just can't take it seriously. Its filled with cliches, the characters are very average. The jokes and the ecchi depends whether its to your taste. It was averagee for me, but nothing that made me facepalm atleast. Meh.
