I rather enjoy the series all the way to the end. The love the characters and the development between them and the fun mini stories that they had in the extras. I never really come to realize that the main character was forced into anything. And if you say he was then how will he ever chance. And there’s even some dialogue he says were even though it may start out like that to some people he still wants it in the end anyway. And even the other character apologizes and tells him sorry that he did this. But either way I still find the whole storyline to be great. Then six farms I think we got enough to where I I don’t need more from the story. The author did a pretty good job. And in the series. It was executed rather well. And the ending even though to some of my been a bit rushed I actually enjoyed it. And now are getting an anime for it

I am so disappointed in how Shirotani gets forced...
This is definitrly not how it works in real life. The beginning of this manga seemed like it will treat the mysophobia seriously, but then it ended up with Kurose, the understanding doctor, in using the weakness of Shirotani against him and then forcing him...

If the manga didn't take the problem seriously, then whatever Idc as long as it has smut. But the story at the beginning did decide to depict the struggles of a person that suffers from OCD, so I can't help but feel betrayed when Shirotani gets forced to do something sexual, even more so because it romanticized it without warning. I couldn't help but get pissed. It seemed like a serious story but then... it turns out to be pretty shallow, and the phobia is nothing but a plot device for the seme to be able to devour the uke. Lol.

WELL. I have always loved BDSM and smut, so a, gonna stay for that, but other than this, a really bas execution.

In the beginning...

...I didn't think I would be able to like Shirotani. He annoyed me when I first started reading. I know he has a debilitating condition, but I just couldn't sympathize with him at first. Then I got over it and read it for the smut. Chapter 14 is still has one of the hottest bjs I've read. Anyway, the art was pretty the smut was hot and all was good until it wasn't. Towards the middle or 3/4 or the characters began looking off and the chapters got ridiculously short. People said the ending was satisfactory, but to me it left too many lose ends, the only thing that was resolved was their romance, but nothing ever came out of either Kurose or Shirotani's background and traumas. I didn't find the ending satisfying at all. In short, I think this one is a bit over rated. I enjoyed her previous stories more ( Hana no Mizo Shiru and Graineliers).

The set up of the story is pretty unique. Unfortunately the characters lack any actual personality. Therefore, while the story is somewhat interesting to follow, it's hard to actually become invested in the characters. The MC is just so weak and not really likeable. He doesn't really grow as a person beyond overcoming his illness by a bit. It's like he's DEFINED by this illness and nothing else. Everything is based and focuses on this illness. It just makes the characters so flat and boring. I really like the concept of this story. I just wish it had been explored deeper and in more meaningful ways. Additionally, all side characters are just plot devices and serve no other purpose. The art is pretty nice though, so helps somewhat.

With 8 different scanlation teams having worked on it to date, the grammar & scan quality are wildly inconsistant.

What's with "age gap" being in the tags? They're only 5 years apart.

Honestly, I saw some people complaining about the "lack" of relationship and character development in this manga, and I feel that this isn't true.

While it may seem that they aren't developing a lot, the truth is that they are, only at a very slow pace. I feel that this might annoy some people, but thats the way it works in reality. You don't just meet a counselor, suddenly get over your phobias, and open up to other people. It takes time to trust and love someone, and I feel that this manga does a great job of showing that.

Another thing that I've been seing is that people are unhappy with the progression of their relationship. I'd like to point out that if you keep reading the manga, you'll learn that Shirotani isn't the only one who has emotional and mental blocks that he developed in childhood. These problems are exemplified with the way that Kurose manipulates and shuts Shirotani out completely. However, as the story progresses, it is made clear that Kurose truely loves Shirotani and genuinely is trying to help him.

Overall, this story is very slow in the developement of the characters, however it makes it much more realistic, and the later flashbacks in the manga explain and help justify the way that the two of them act. If you don't want to read something dark or slow, than please don't read this because you'll be disapointed.

Plot: Shirotani, a guy with sever mysophobia mets Kurose, a therapist who who is willing to help Shirotani with his condition.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
I liked how in twords the end Kurose becomes obsessed with Shirotani and a bunch of freaky things happened. There was a part where I was I was scared for what might happen in the end if Shirotani overcomes his mysophobia, thus fulfilling Kuroses intrest in him. But it all turned out ok.

I'm honestly confused here. By looking at the cover of the volumes of the series or reading the story where in the heck do you see comedy? It's obviously a darker seme story about a character that deals with being germs which is very rare to find in your typical yaoi series. The main character who struggled with his most of his life due to his childhood past has to do with this everyday but you don't see very often these shows are and yeah in particular. It's a very unusual and interesting concept about a person that has this type of phobia has to wash his hands every time he touches something that he doesn't like. I honestly didn't know what I was getting myself into until I read halfway through it and then gone back and read the rest and I really enjoyed with the series has to offer it's very different and I can see why it's very popular. Daycare just can be very interesting as the main care to try to develop him getting over this phobia and it's interesting that he had to write down 10 different concepts on what he just likes the most and even though the concept may be simple it goes far beyond that and there's even a Twist in the middle of the series this series is still ongoing but I really enjoyed what I've read from it it's interesting seeing these characters back story. I would say give it a shot however if you're not into a dark and twisted store in the story is not for you. If you're into comedy this is not for you either. If you looking for development in the series there is some and I really like how it goes and see if your typical story were a character loves another character and he doesn't know and it goes to rape equals love kind of thing which that is something you really see in the boys lunch on her and I can't stand that. But I really do enjoy the series so I would say give it a go.

I started reading it when the genres said it was a comedy. Ten chapters in I still couldnt see the comedy and then I realized.

Otherwise its meh. Nothing special. Its an interesing concept on the phobia but otherwise the characters are pretty boring

Don't know where people are seeing abuse in this story or The fact the kurose forces the main character to do anything. Most of the time he asked shirotani to do just about anything and his true motives and feelings. And mostly Shirotani either secretly wants it's anyway. Now Kuro may force one thing or two be shirotani again already knows it. After so many series that I read where the character just get the main character drunk and forces him to have sex, rapes the main character to understand his feelings, or just does it cause he feels like it. This one is not one of them.

The artwork has been seen and done before. Nothing new but certainly isn't ugly to look at.

Story is simple with a man trying to get cured of his problem. It's a rare treat and can't get complex after on. Does get somewhat dark and sexual but it not every chapter. Sometimes the two just go shopping, or help the main character with another cure which can't always be cured.

Love it. Love it.
