Unexpected clarity of emotions which holds steady throughout the entire story, little to no drama, little to no tantrums, strong and interesting characters throughout the story, tension that tightens repeatedly, unexpected secrets and best of all: the major plotline was kinda predictable yet it unfolded unexpectedly.

This book is definitely one of the better reads out there. A tug-your-heartstring, make-you-kind-of-weepy story, but one thing I like about this is it was almost never predictable. (Or it may just be 24 hours of no sleep talking here.) Anyway, I recommend it if you like good shoujo w/ a few cliches. This is definitely not an if-you-have-free-time only manga.

p.s. People who have basic knowledge of Japanese culture (or who have read a lot of manga) would know that in Japan, it is legally okay to marry/date your cousin (even a first degree one). Incest, by definition, is sexual activity between close relatives, which may or may not include first degree cousins (I'll put my money on the "may"). I don't agree w/ the first comment, but even so, by definition, incest would not actually be an appropriate category for this manga, since there is no sexual activity at all in this manga. NONE. NADA. NIL. Capiche?
