It was good, I really liked the heroine and the plot was fairly interesting. After a while though it got boring, especially with the main guy character getting angry at everything.

the main character never fails to make me laugh, with her lazy ass personality, and laid back lifestyle, she really is just too cute. the manga itself has a very fun, and lighthearted plot, i recomend for anyone and everyone to read!

I have been following this series since it first appeared in Dragon Voice, and all I can say is that I love it! It's captivating, with wonderful characters and chatching storyline. And it has also a message hidden towards what beauty is, and I find that to be wonderful, because it's totally right ("Beauty is in the eye of the beholder")! I HIGHLY recommend this manga to anyone who... well... enjoys good mangas! Loveable and hilarious, don't let yourself be fooled by the first impression!!! This is a great piece of work that Kiyoko Arai created, and you should, like the review from Dragon Voice says, just give it a try, people!!! ^_^

well i really liked this manga, nearly everything about it was great, the only thing i didn't like was the romance, i mean it was basically non-existent, i think the romance tag should have been taken off and romantic-subplot category tag added instead

I keep referring and recommending this manga since it's so cute and loveable. The characters are interesting, funny, and unique. Sure, there are some parts in the manga in which you know what's going to happen; but the way they have to get there is funny and interesting enough to read. There are slight cliches in the story, but not loads of it. The romance was kept well, it wasn't push in every chapter; kinda like a sub-plot to the contests that she joined.

Kiri, I just love her and her few words. She's a bit like others, but isn't since she actually tries to do something. She doesn't sit back and let others do it, but she will wait till she's needed. She helps everyone she can, even if she doesn't know them. Something happened in her past which caused problems later on (I still wished this was more dramatic but it's okay). First she starts off with no friends (okay, well there's that one dude), but soon a group is formed around her. She was quite silence at first, but she became a bit more opened.

Narumi was just one of those bad boys, but he greatly grows athought the manga. He's short temper and funny to the boat. He has this winning streak that he's proud of, which is funny later on. I love the ending with this character. I don't have much to say other than, he's funny, cute. His friends are enjoyable. Kei (the candy-eater) is my favorite, as is the glasses dude.
Side characters are funny (I keep saying this a lot). I love the side pairings they added, but I wish there were more; but then again, it was mainly males and very little females.

Overall, I love this. I will reread this again, which is something I barley do.

This was a great manga! I mean, the main character is different from most mangas which makes it interesting. Kiri is basically indifferent about everything and she can make the most awesome hairstyles. I loved seeing how different people were transformed. It was always a different hairstyle each time. I really envy the talent Kiri has. The art was also good, that's why the hairstyles seemed awesome. Its starts off a bit slow but it bets better. I think the plot and characters are pretty good. I loved the manga!

The story was enjoyable. At first, the plot seems repetitive with them only trying to make girls look good but as the story goes on, it progressed. It's about making girls beautiful and yet they have pretty unexpected characters for the role. When I first read the summary, I thought this wouldn't be that good but seems like I was wrong.

The art is really good. I love it. This was actually one of my favorite manga.

The characters are amazing. Kiri (the female lead) is unlike any other shoujo heroines. She's a hairstylist who just act cool and doesn't cry easily.A really admirable character. I love her stoic expressions and how she just doesn't seem to care. On the other hand, Narumi (the male lead) is an equally enjoyable character himself. He seems like a kid and likes to show off. He thinks of Kiri as a rival and I just can't help think that their perfect for each other.

The romance was a bit slow but at least no one fell in love after the first chapter or the girl fell in love because the main guy was always protecting her and blah blah blah... I really liked the sort of romance applied here since I was getting tired of good girl makes bad boy good.
