666 Satan resembled Naruto storywise for me(I dont care if the art is almost the same) however the first 5 chapters kinda irritated me that this story was almost the same as Naruto. But I gave it a chance I continued to read the manga.

It changed when Ball and Kirin was introduced to the story then my thought of the series changed a little to be positive. At the Rock Bird arc I noticed this series can be really unique in its way of telling the story with the use of the different characters at hand. I started to like the OPT thing which I first thought was lame was now better then Chakra at naruto. Plus with the 10 angels and 10 demon thingy that resembled Naruto's 9 bijuus but this thing was more thoughtfull and lot more interesting.

Naruto had a great start but is sucky sucky after 150+, this manga was the opposite for me 1-5 was awful but then after chapter 10 it just started getting better and better.
Naruto used the "dreams" concept wrong but 666 Satan uses it right. Thats the main difference between the two mangas if you ask me.

If you like things like naruto and bleach you will love this, its funny, great story, and the action is awesome. Also, I hate that they renamed it O-Parts Hunter in American.. thats just god awful.

Tipical shounnen manga.
If u like naruto, one piece and stuff give it a try.
The plot is somewhat interesting, and the art is pretty same of naruto.

I'm not defending the fact that some of the characters look like they jumped straight out of naruto, but i'm rather not ignoring the fact that this is kishimotos brother and the fact that they had the same kinda influence growing up so the similarity is acceptable. When i first started to read this manga i kept thinking about the similarity of jio as well (being a naruto fan as well), but the difference is apparent after the first couple of chapters. 666 satan does ot only offer alot more complex story, but it's also stands out in the way that there is a bigger difference between people in the series. As for the story layout i can see that Jio and naruto do have the same goal (Naruto wants to be hokage (head of the village) and jio wants to take over the world to make it accept him for who he is) both carry a demon, but the relationship between the characters are diffrerent as we get deeper into the story. Those who hate this manga, don't hate it for the character resemblance, thats not a valid reason. There are countless stories about sucsessfull spinoffs, but this isn't one of them.

And one more little thing to you who absolutely call this crap compared to naruto. We all know that if 666 satan was the more popular manga to start with you would treat Naruto the same way.

Excellent series. I've been trying to get people to read it, and they just go 'eh... 666...satan?....eeeh....' However, when they FINALLY started reading it.... they got hooked.

People are defending the fact that this manga doesn’t look like Naruto and they shouldn’t. Naruto wasn't a great manga and this look alike isn’t either. Both the main characters have some kind of beast (nine tail fox or Satan) inside them. Their personalities are both alike- they like helping people, it’s just the way they carry themselves while helping people that’s a little different. The main characters have the basically the same goal- they both want respect. The male characters look extremely alike to and the female characters have a resemblance to Naruto (its just that the Naruto females have a bit chubbier faces). The story is typical shounen type. You can expect it to be entertaining and to have a couple good moments. Although there is a lot of better shounen manga out there you should read it if you have some free time and if you like Naruto.

I've read other comments speaking about Naruto's shadow.
When I first read it I noticed the last name Kishimoto like Naruto's author but thought it was just coincidence. The same after reading 10 volumes.
I've just discovered he is his twin brother.
At the beginning the scheme resembled to Naruto's but the art was just different. Female characters are done totally different(think very well done) and although male characters are a bit similar the atmosphere and action are just another. Speakin of Naruto, Jio is really the reason of the disasters that happen around him and he has light and dark personalities. Naruto's just a good guy. Enjoy this manga, its unique.

Dare name this manga Naruto's copy and garbage and you can call the same from Naruto and other shounen. It's quite a simple-minded opinion.

It's not bad, if you're into Dragonball-esque shounen. There's even a lot to like about it; design -and battle wise.
But after a while you start to doubt if it's going anywhere; the story is so incredibly vague and characters aren't fleshed out at all. Especially since the time-skip it feels like the mangaka just wants to get it over with, making it feel really rushed and messy.

Pretty good, but not something I would consider THAT great. I hope more releases will come out. It's quite interesting.

This manga is excellent and as much as I want to further praise it, I really have the urge to end this futile debate by comparing and contrasting the two
mangas.

Artwork:
Obviously if you draw with someone for a long time and even share ideas(this I'm guessing) you'll eventually begin to not only think alike, but have similar styles and expressions.(besides it's not like you can copyright an art style)

Naruto and Jio look alike, but they also look completely different if you were to see these two individuals walking side by side (for whatever reason) in real life, surely their facial features and other aspects would be similar, but you wouldn't consider them clones!

Yes there are many similarities, but then again if you look around us today almost everyone looks like someone.

This I've been wanting to get off my chest for some time.
Naruto is a-
Ninja intraining who wants to prove himself to everyone and maybe pick up
Sakura along the way.
Jio is a-
Average kid...except for the fact that he's possesed or witholding the spirit of Lucifer. Jio doesn't care what people think of him and only wants to rule over the world so he can gain ultimate power and respect.

Difference: Naruto wants to earn the respect, Jio wants to enforce the respect.

Anyway moving on, I also believe that their up bring upon the discovery of their latent abilities is far different. Their relationship with their companions is also significantly different.

Although it can't be avoided that the two stories are similar, but it can't be said that they're direct copies either.
