Kaya (the secretary) is a likable and strong character in the beginning, quite evening out the very... bossy boss and stating herself as a suitable companion, while the interaction between them is relatively enjoyable and interesting to witness. Then the more she falls in love, the more she seem to get submissive, the imposing behaviour of her male counterpart hence turning out to be just... a tad too much to bear. In hindsight I think this second phase -that thankfully seem to be over in the very latest chapters (#23 and #24 currently) - was mainly due to the mangaka stalling the development (the relationship seemed to almost go one step ahead and two steps backwards some times) while trying to establish the plot and pacing: Kyohei (the vampire) is a tough nuck to crack, but the whole 'vampire pride' element could have been solved much earlier (first cracks were about chapter #13, but only ten chapters later we see some real thought processing of the matter on his side). Well, better later than never, I guess XD.
Do I recommend this? yes, to the smut audience, with caution to the general audience if you're not bothered by borderline Harlequin-romance chauvinism - or if you're amused by it instead XD -. Hoping it won't go downhill...
Otherwise, I'd rather suggest Barairo my Honey by the same mangaka, it's more balanced and has no smut.
Or, if you want (mostly smart, funny) smut and good crack XD, try Yoshihara Yuki

I dun't like Kyohei...and i always think what Kaya like in Kyohei??
coz Kyohei hott n sexy it does't make a sense....many hot guys in Kaya life also hot..kind too! and Kyohei..I really don't like what he thinks!!! he mean guy! not a kind guy..T__T

ok finally!!!! he said something! like does it take that long for someone to say I Love You?(well with that sort of context...lol) well maybe with his pride and all but seriously he looks like he's hurting 'cause of what she's saying about being his secretary...yes yes yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!! He finally showed that hurt look to her. He's finally begging with his eyes.

Oh and by the way...He is soooooooooooooooooooooooo hot!!!!!!!!!!

This manga, like everyone else said was great at first, but now it's just sort of bleh, but for some reason I keep on reading, it's like I'm masochistic or something....... my hate for kyohei is like the only thing keeping me going. It's like I NEED to find out what happens to him, just because I want to see bad things happen to him.

yeayeayeah I, too thought kyouhei was hot at first, but he just became more and more bitchy, all I can say now is asshole! This is so bad, but man, I want him to die.

I was about to quit reading this, but it just now got good at chapter 21. Looks like the asshat finally decided to swallow up his pride and say something. Wonder what'll happen next

i really want more everytime i read a new chapter thinking 'when wil he admit he wants her?' i really want them to be honest with each other. this is such a romantic series!! I HIGHLY recommend it to romance readers...plus he's a vampire!! which is sooo HOT!

Seriously, this is one shoujo manga story that has me quite hooked and this is coming from someone who almost swore never to read another shoujo manga (coz of the overused plots around.. and the bad artwork). Now this is one story that has me anticipating for the next chapter... and gosh is Kyouhei one hell of a looker... I just wished that the story can progress a little faster...

At first the story grabs you, about a strong girl, and a vampire. Sadly the girl goes down hill, going from Strong and sticking to her convictions, to the guy's "Puppet". The other thing is that the Girl does too much thinking, What do I mean? she says something, than thinks again, then re-tells what she said, she should just say what she wants and stop. We got it the first time, too many times makes it boring...
The thing I liked was how she was strong, and the plot was cute. Lately it looks repetated, maybe the author is at a rut? Hope it gets better...

Oh, the style is the reason why I'd read that one even if the story weren't so deliciously mature and wicked. But, combined with the wickedness and the vampires and the interesting, strong characters and the twists and turns... There's no way I could stop reading MS!

Sounded promising at the begining of the series, though as the story progessess, it lost its uniqueness. Story started out with a strong main character, but now she's just any other typical shoujo heroin. It's getting quite repetitive.

Read up til the end of v03, and will not finish it since it seems like it would be a waste of my time.
