Description
The Great Tokyo Earthquake. Ten years ago, it destroyed lives as it tore buildings asunder. This manga has nice art, which makes up for the poor plot and character development...somewhat. I feel that the plot is underwhelming, and personalites of characters change so quickly and ...it's hard to comprehend (look at Crow, for instance.)
I don't feel any emotional connections with the characters, except when Ganta does something stupid and immature and I want to bash him over the head with my dining table.
The beginning was good, and it looked like it had alot of potential. But the whole thing... I feel like the story could have been told better, somehow.
Artwork is really the only thing that is keeping me from quitting this already.

the manga didn't impress me by its STYLE ( a style that can be seen in so many other series ) but I liked the anime a lot better! those who aren't impressed by the style of the manga should watch anime!

Looking for a stupid manga? Look no further then this. The plot is idiotic, the characters are totally predictable. About the only thing this manga has going for it is the art. I read the first volume, then skipped to the 8th, and didn't feel like I had missed a single thing. If you're looking for a well drawn, story that makes you dumber just by looking at it, you can't do better then this one. If you're looking for anything else, keep looking, you won't find it in this idiotic manga.
