Sad.. I really liked this couple. I wouldn't mind "incest" in this case. Not sure where the author wanted to go with it, as I understand they axed it so he had to finish it abruptly. Aaaanyway, I like the art and the characters, can't wish for anything else.

This manga has been a sweet shoujo with a tinch of drama up until chapers 16-18, check it out until that point because it sure as hell is different, you can choose to drop it or keep going at that point at your liesure.

4 points dropped... I expect that the story become like this but anyway this is something that was new I really enjoy new things, not all stores should be good. This one is just okay.

The author could make it better but its rushed. (some people will get angry mooooore )

Starts out as a sweet comedy romance series with a little bit of drama.
Recent chapters introduce a heavy psychological aspect.
Most manga stick to the same themes and character behavior from start to finish, so I commend this manga for actual keeping me guessing as to what will happen next.

I know everyone hates the ending but frankly this one has been a stinker from the start. All their relationships and interactions are based upon misunderstandings and unwillingness to communicate. It's everything I hate in romance to a T. The few cute character interactions don't make up for the slow and frustrating pace which meanders until it suddenly accelerates to a stop.

...and that ending. Hoo boy, that was bad. I honestly can't think of a single reason you would write that twist into a romance and follow through on it in such a way. I guess it served its purpose and created some drama... but damn, I am left dissatisfied on all counts.

Hard to believe something like this came out of the author of Golden Time and Toradora, some of the best romances on the market. I'd like to blame the editorial, but it definitely has the bones of their other works. They just put the skeleton together wrong. Wayy wrong.

I've been a fan of Takemiya-sensei previous works. Tora Dora, Our Dearest Tamura is a good indicator to what I will expecting in Evergreen. Sweet, comedic high school love stories with cliffhangers to bear through. Not much of a review, but this represents my hopes for this series.

TL;DR - Innocent awkward comedic love school stories. Expect tissues.

Seriously, they are always turning me away from what might be a decent series.

Cute characters, nice art. The reception to the twist is exaggerated. I thought it was quite interesting, and not something done before. The relationship after the twist evolved naturally too. Despite being Takemiya's weakest work I still enjoyed this.
