well, i liked it at first. but i guess i just got sick of heroines that are super dense. considering the fact that she lost her parents, shouldn't she be a bit more traumatised? sure she takes care of the child, but still. i find her way too stupid. im sorry but im sick of that. maybe i judged this manga too harshly, but UGH. especially kurosawa, hes friggin annoying, thinking bizarre crap like he might just be playing with her? omfg, its irritating to read. as someone said, chapter 30 and they still havent kissed. honestly, sooner or later someone else is gonna take her kiss because shes so open and dense! -.- even i'm not like that and i haven't experienced any traumatic things in my life!! AND EVERYTHING IS HAREM! HAAAAAAAAAAAAA IM SICK OF HAREM! its like one guy after another!! what chillli said is totally true! AND IM SICK OF IT. OH, i forgot to mention that theres absolutely no character development at all. the guy just marries her out of the blue, the betch doesnt care and lives on with it, and BAM chapter 1 she starts liking him already. WTF IS THAT?

I LOVE this manga sooooo much! Its because of this that I got into reading TxS manga's. Its so sweet and cute and their development is something to look for. And one reason I keep hanging on this manga is because of Ojiro-sensei!

He's so cute in whatever form he has. Hell maa-kun's, ordinary guy, teacher etc. And the fact that im attracted to guy's wearing glasses, om.. he's just a perfect example lol EPIC.

adorable and sweet this is a good manga to read when you're feeling down. you don't need to be all lovey dovey and kissy to have a good relationship and you can see this in this manga. Not to mention Teppei is the cutest and sweetest kid ever OMG!

At first I was really looking forward to this series. Good plot, good art... but heck! When I reached chapter 10 I was BORED!! I continued reading it just so I can at least give it more chances but it reached chapter 30 and not even one real kiss!! The author is a tease and she just wants to seduce us with good arts but in reality, they are not even acting as lovers... sheesh!

This manga is just lovely, nothing else. From a guy's point of view i wanna give it a 4 but from a girl's point of view this manga deserves a 10 so average 7. Girl meets teacher, falls in love, everyday love story right?

sorry fans,but i find this extremely boring,but its MY opinion of course. i think its going nowhere,its just your usual episodic new-characters-pop-up-to-interfere-in-their-relationship shoujo. but the little guy is cute,i admit that.

Well, some obvious plot issues that drag it down, Faster Than a Kiss is still a great series. I fell in love with it from the very first chapter. Though as it goes on, I find myself annoyed at how different in tone the series gets from what I enjoyed at the beginning. However you almost have to expect that. When a series is originally intended to be a few chapters in length, and then because of popularity and appeal, is extended. The story naturally suffers as a result.

Some of the plot twists are laughably dumb, like recently with Meg Denton, who has a fiance picked out by her father back in America. A guy who she will marry, who then will inherit her families business. That thing may still occasionally happen in Japan, or parts of the 3rd world, but the US is a hell of a lot different. I actually laughed out loud when that little plot twist occurred.

Still despite how silly it is, at its heart this is a good story. One I'm definitely enjoying even with all the silliness. Even with mangaupdates stupidly renaming it to its Japanese name instead of the English translation of the name, under which it has always been released. Its definitely worth reading.

I love this series, though by all accounts I shouldn't. The art is very nice and the characters (at least for me) are likeable. But there is very little in the way of plot. It's a bunch of individual, help the dasmel in distress moments loosely strung together by a highly unrealistic overlying premise. It's absurd really. But I can't get enough. I chomp at the bit for more releases. I follow it with unwavering dedication. I don't know. Maybe it's the chemistry between Maa-kun and Fumino. Maybe it's the wifey-cosplay. Maybe it's Maa-kun's sexy glasses and barely controlled yankee tendencies. Maybe I'm just a hopeless romantic. Whatever ever it is, it works for me, despite all its glaring faults.

It just oozes love. It's pretty cute, the teacher is a total bishie and they looks good together. It annoys me when she acts all shy after the teacher "forces himself" on her (a hug = force.) but overall I can only say that it's a sweet series. My favorite parts must be the EVIL MAA-KUN bits. This manga is a quick read and I'm awaiting for more. I'm hoping that in the scanlations there will be a part where the mangaka introduces the teacher's parents.

To sum it up: Scandalous relationship but it's totally sweet as the sensi actually cares for his student.~

I think this manga is very cute!! I was a little displeased that the manga started off with them already married, I think it would have been better for them to have the whole first chapter explaining their current situation before the marriage thing. I'm still wondering why ojiro-sensei agreed to that out of the blue.

Also I found out that the mangaka is a guy!! I thought it was nearly impossible for a guy to create any other genre except shounen, hentai, or ecchi. But it seems there are a few exceptions. Not only is he devoting this entire manga to shojo romance but it's a really good one to boot!! If I haven't read the posts below, I would never have found that out!! Awesome!!
