I initially didn’t read this series because the art was a bit iffy. But once I picked it up I just could not stop and read the whole thing in one sitting. This is certainly not a masterpiece, but it is a really great read if you are looking for something that is both suspenseful and heartwarming.

The plot really is unpredictable. Throughout the first 40ish chapters I kept going back and forth on who the real psychopaths/murderers were. Then when the past is finally revealed, the actions/portrayals of the main characters in the beginning finally makes perfect sense. And I never expected this to be heartwarming but it was! I got very emotional and teared up near the end when the family dynamic and the mother to daughter and father to daughter bonds finally came full circle and all the conflicting emotions started making sense. It was totally worth the read.
